4.1 Run the System for static analysis and obtained the loading from restraint Summary & add Slug Forces to these Loads.
Marke the Loading on Stress Sketch for the restraints for which Loading exceeds 1000Kg.
5.1 After calculation of Slug Forces Stress Engineer will decide whether to check the effect of these forces on stress in the system.
It shall be decided by checking the Magnitude of Slug Forces & Percentage of Sustain/Thermal Stresses in the System.
If theses Stresses are not very high(less than 70%) & the Magnitude of Slug Forces is very less compaired to size of line then the
Effect of Slug Forces on Stresses can be neglected.
5.2 If the Effect of Slug Forces on the Stresses has to be checked then apply the magnitude of slug forces (Axial & Orthogonal) in static input
at concerned Elbow and check the Stresses in the system Statically.
6.1 Stress Engineer will provide more Guide/Directional Stops/Holddown/Clamp Support in the system in order
to eleminate vibrationin in the system.
7.1 Apply the Sluge Forces in Static Input on the first three Elbow or as Decided by Stress Engineer from the Nozzle and check Nozzle Loads.
