1. Language ability consists of language knowledge and strategic competence, which ability
has differences in reading literature as the main difference between the main difference
between skills and strategy is whether the operation is automatic or intentionally controlled.
The main knowledge is the knowledge that will be obtained and also studied to carry out its
strategic competencies. So it starts from the first main knowledge to continue to its strategic
competence.
- What are the effects and results of using these language skills?
4. The data needed is to make observations and implement them using a questioner. For
example, conducting a mini research on a campus then provides two questioner sheets, one
questionnaire about language knowledge and another about strategic competence about
literature in reading. After that the results of the two questionnaires are compared to get the
data.
5. The techniques used are qualitative and quantitative techniques, which are more focused
on collecting data using questionnaires. The action I took was to make two questionnaires,
one questionnaire about strategic competence and another about language knowledge. Then
the two questionnaires were given to students who were observed on a campus to get data
after the questionnaire was filled out.
6. A. In Identifying Data: By planning a data collection session based on what you find in
preliminary observations. Regularly review field notes and plan to pursue specific directions
in the next data collection session.
B. Grouping Data: By means of after identifying the data, then the data is grouped by
formulating general questions for a study. These questions are important because they can
focus on data collection and assist in the preparation when they are processed.
C. Organizing Data: Plan data collection sessions based on what is found in preliminary
observations Regularly review the researcher's field notes and plan to pursue specific
directions in the next research data gathering session. Ask yourself what researchers still
don't know and what form researchers study.
D. Finding Patterns: Deciding the type of study the researcher wants to do. There are many
types of qualitative studies: organizational case studies, observational studies, life history
studies and so on. Some experienced researchers tend to miss this type of research and they
automatically look for data directed at one of these types.
E. Making Meaningful Findings: By making a finding then testing ideas and themes on the
informant. The informant can be used as a source of preliminary analysis. During preliminary
observations in a study, for example, there is often a conflict of problems. Although the
researcher can use the informant as a source, it should be noted that the researcher must not
give everything completely to them.
7. In my opinion it is lacking because of the use of the metaphor for what? What are your
listening, reading and writing skills anytime? The title should have the main objective for the
discussion to be for the purpose of metaphors in the novel.
