STARTUP ANALYSIS REPORT

We always mention that India is a Agriculture oriented country and majority lead their life through
Agriculture. Here Farmers are known as Annadaatas. But in the same country we also see that Farmers
are earning the least and are at the lowest stage not able to raise in their levels due to the following
reasons:
1) The prices farmers are getting for the products grown is very less.
2) Price sold to consumer is high and the major portion of the money is lost in Transport, negotiation
during selling, brokerage and vendor operations.
3) Farmers who carry or arrange transportation for sales are forced to sell and come back without fail
and are victims of huge negatiations.
4) They pay for cultivation and also cutting process of crops and have to pay raised labour charges due
to non-availability of manpower in the segment/area.
5) Government interventions are less and limited in the area to facilitate purchase of grown veg/crops
from the Farmers and process it to a suitable market.
6) They also receive less for grown in case crop cultivated is sometimes more and is being cultivated
by many farmers. When supply is more then negotiations too are more and pricing is least.
7) No proper packaging and preserving systems available and hence the pressure to sell the crops
are high hence landing in selling to least prices.
8) Lack of knowledge on market for the products grown are to be sold.

All the above are the points where an idea to help farmers and also consumers to have fresh grown
products at higher returns to Farmers and less burden to consumers on costing.

To create such scenario the Startup will work effectively creating a sense no burden to Farmers and
ease of business where as wholesalers and retailers can purchase the products at various allocated
locations in the city.

SWOT Analysis:

STRENGTHS:
1) Expecting a lot of co-operation from Farmers as we ease their process and eliminate their headache
of transportation, finding market, negotiation, selling and travel back.
2) Can pay more for the product in case number of pickups are more in a particular area.
3) Fresh food items would be available to consumers.
4) Food processing industries can receive quality raw source without internal checks required.
5) Can survey market and get people to work on making market economical for consumers.
6) Minimise wastage of grown crops avoiding national waste.
7) On permanent seasonal orders, Farmers will be informed prior so grown crops matches rqumnt.
Due to this futuristic plan, gains of farmers will be high and factories/units get products in time.

WEAKNESSES:
1) Still market condition is unknown of the proposal to be made.
2) Farmers having little knowledge on APPS.
3) Transportation trucks/vans to be owned as end time negotiation is not possible for sale completed.
4) App still to be prepared and costing involved in the same.
5) Flawless process preparation for getting the farmer satisfaction to maximum.
6) Some products have very short shelf life and has to be purchased at minimum per day.
7) Immediate transfers to be arranged for smaller shelf life products.
8) Fluctuating daily and hourly market rates.
9) Farmers having limited knowledge on market and falling into words of mediators.

OPPURTUNITIES:
1) Small farmers who are not able to find market and are carrying crops in Public transports are eased.
2) Crops can be picked where farmers are finding difficult to get trucks for large loads
3) Attracting farmers who are fed up with brokers and brokerages taking max share of their earnings.
4) Food processing units and food product manufacturing units can get fresh and quality products.
5) Small vendors can have minimum purchase quantities from godown wholesales at best prices.
6) Increasing of quality products even at small vendors.
7) At least the capital with some profit to high profit can be generated in this method.
8) Avoidance of stress and strain of farmers.
9) Export of high quality and high shelf life crops and veggies and creating international market.

THREATS:
1) Resistances from local authorities.
2) Lack of knowledge until trust gained.
3) Strikes from brokers and local sellers.
4) Face to loss in case of market price falls after purchase of crops/veggies.
5) Non-linear sales pattern in case of local markets and threat of product remain at godown.
6) Non-guaranteed crop availability sometimes when requirement arrives.
7) Matching of produces from Farmers and request from Markets.

Kickoff and Chronology of Project flow:

1) Create APP where Farmers need to register for picking up of their cultivated products.
2) Registration from Farmers with address, ID card, Bank account details and crops cultivated list.
3) Every day market research on the pricing and updating the same on app.
4) Farmer requests the sale of product and quantity and confirms the quality (low/med/good/high)
5) Pickup will be from the registered address only and packaging will be done neatly.
6) Quality will be checked and measured in front of the Farmer and confirmation on app will be taken
7) Payment will be made online with statement updated on app and through SMS (within 3 days).
8) Receive orders from customers/malls/market/food product/processing units etc.
9) Deliver the packaged requirement to the customer directly in case of big orders.
10) Small retailers/malls and super markets requires small package and manage the same at godowns
11) Packages will be delivered neatly to the required upon confirmed orders (50kgs and more)
12) Wholesale and retail (minimum purchase quantity will be provided) will be sold direct separately.
13) Any crops/food products getting spoilt will be processed immediately with support and life will be
retained or a different product/savoury will be manufactured/sold with support/startups.

Many points can be added upon the above project report but the important is mentioned.
Job oppurtunites to many can be provided.
Costing of Transport/Brokerage and delivery will be coming down hence Farmers, sellers and
consumers will be gaining more from Fresh crops.
New startups for food processing can come up with ideas of manufacturing and raw materials from us.
Small vendors are benefitted as they can get good produces nearby, avoiding central market rush.
List of competitors are available but not very popular: NinjaKart, Udaan, Jumbotail, Crofarm etc
Local availability of Veggies, Fruits, Groceries etc are less and not popular with small Farmers.
