I would like to start by saying that nobody can do the things for you. That is the answer I am never
happy to hear ,yet now trying to accept more and more.

The Main goal with this course was to organize a concert /Project and then perform it to the public.

Well, no surprise to myself that I decided to do more than just that. We ,together with a very talented
guitar player Thomas from Norwegian academy of Music have performed a concert in the school,
and I decided to enhance our programme and got the opportunity to perform in one of the most
famous classical Music festivals in Lithuania ``Pazaislio festivalis´´ : http://pazaislis.lt/en/
together with a very well known guitarist Alexandra Whittingham from United Kingdom.

In the end I managed to book 3 more concert halls without paying of the rent and therefore
decided to make it into a small festival.
I called it ´´Arte et Marte´´ which , translated from latin means :"By Skill and by Fighting ",
resembling the importance of hard work and the responsibility of an artist to inspire and let the
others enjoy, A. Piazzolla ( His work ´´Histoire du tango´´was the main focus) himself gave me
inspiration to the title:
´´´´If you want to change the tango, you had better learn boxing, or some other martial art.´´ Tango
is way more than just a Romantic dance. At the very beginning of the 18th Century this was a
dance formed by musical gatherings of slaves which turned into one of the most Popular dance
in 19th Century. There are two types of tango: The traditional Argentina tango and Andalusian
tango performed by a solo woman. This was the one we Wanted to include in our concert

In the programme the public was supposed to hear A.Piazzolla ´´Histoire du tango´´and I was
going to invite a collegue who was going to perform a choreography of her own resembling the
story of the Tango.

The concert was supposed to look like this:

1. Alexandra and I would perform the improvisation together based on Piazzollas written work
2. B.Bartok Hungarian dances arranged for clarinet solo
3. A.Piazzolla Histoire du tango

In between the pieces There would be small breaks with Dance performances and the
choreography made by Monica, my Friend who is a professional dancer. I was Also going to read
some poetry.

Since the corona happened the festival got canceled and therefore we Will perform it in the same
festival in 2021 . Nonetheless we received an invitation to another famous festival, Also in 2021
because They Liked the programme and the video we sent out .
The one other thing we learned in this course is to concentrate on one project and plan it from A
to B and collect all the materials since every single little thing we perform can turn into something
bigger!

I started just with the intention of renewing an old friendship and ended up with a partnership for
couple years ahead, with performances in festivals!
