2. Describe distinctive musical elements of given pieces in 20 th Century Styles;

2.2 Name the notable painters and composers of expressionistic music
2.3 Appreciate the music of Arnold Schoenberg and Igor Stravinsky

A. Topic: 20th Century Musical Styles

Sub-topic: Expressionism
B. Materials: DVD/CD recordings, video clips, or recordings from YouTube/Internet of Impressionistic,
Neo-Classicist, Avant Garde, and Modern Nationalistic Music CD/VCD/DVD/Karaoke players,
computers, laptops, netbooks, tablets, I pads, mobile phones, MP3/MP4 players, Visual Arts pictures
of Impressionistic, and Modern Nationalistic Paintings, chart of music scores.

2. Motivation: Use the displayed pictures or posters of the paintings of Expressionist painter
Vincent Van Gogh, and Edvard Munch and Wassily Kandinsky.
