Have a look at the two photos and see if you can identify the short cuts being taken?

Too often we look the other way just to get the job done and in so many cases in doing so we end up having to
rush a fellow employee to hospital or having to tell a family that the husband or father is not coming home.

Taking short cuts to rush the job is not the right way, we have learned from past incidents that rushing the job
and taking short cuts just cause the job to take so much longer. Nine out of ten times someone gets injured
which results in the work being stopped for the duration of the investigation.

There is an old saying that says “crime pays” well if it does why is there so many criminals locked up? Taking
short cuts is just as good as committing crime, the short cut you take could end up killing someone or you’re
self.

With some planning and coordination we can do our jobs safely and still complete in the time given to do the
job. Think of your family before taking a short cut again, they will be the once to pay the price.

THERE IS JUST ONE WAY TO DO YOUR JOB AND THAT IS TO DO IT SAFELY
