Description:
(15) Temporary-full time openings, 4/1/20 11/30/20. Vee-Jay Cement Contracting Co., Inc., St. Louis, MO.
Ability to smooth & finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, or curbs using a
variety of hand & power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs or gutters. $29.52/hr, O/T varies at
$44.28/hr. 40hrs, Mon-Fri possibly Sat, 7am-3:30pm, hrs may fluctuate due to weather. No exp. or educ. nec.
Will train. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in adverse weather conditions & pass a pre & post-employment
drug test paid by employer. Single workweek used for computing wages. Pay received weekly. Bonuses and
extra compensation may be offered at discretion of employer. Shared housing may be available if used,
$80.00 per pay period will be deducted from pay-check. Employer will make all deductions from workers
paycheck required by law. Inbound transportation (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) to
the place of employment reimbursed to workers. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period,
employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the
place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will
provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the
place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent
employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal
to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be
provided at a rate of $12.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts.
Transportation provided daily from main office to the various work locations within Jefferson, St. Charles,
St. Clair & St. Louis counties. Employer will reimburse the H-2B worker within 1st workweek all visa, visa
processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government. All work
