Motion :in areas of chronically low academic attainment , thbt the general approach of

educational charities should be to focus resources on maximising the potential of


exceptional students ,over helping the lowest achieving.

 Educational charity :

 Type of charity that serves the student from the early age school like the
kindergarten to high level of studies in university for the purpose of providing
educational purpose

 This charity usually more focused on the low background family who need
financial aid to support their daily necessities rather than supporting the children
educational

 This charity purposely made for the education can be accessed by all the student
and made the education more effective

Definition
 the motion defined on the how the group should prioritize the smarter student in
terms of academic skills than the poor one.
 The motion also should provide more beneficial things to the high achieving
students than the lesser one to max out their unleashed potential
 The motion will defined on how the smart student should be taken care of in
comparison to the poor one student

 who will be affected by this policy ?who is the biggest stakeholder ?how many

Stakeholders

Student
 The student whether the smart student ,the weak student ,the middle between
them which is the average student.
 Become the biggest stakeholder out of all people

Parents
 The low salary parent will get the most beneficial from it if their children are
smart and being taken care of
 The beneficial things such as financial welfare ,books ,study materials provided
to the children will reduced the spendings on the household effect and financial
situation .

School
 1.more students from their schools being taken care of will help them to improve
the school situation such as school facilities to provide the best surroundings for
the student .

Categories of stakeholders are divided for students and parents .the schools didn’t
affect regardless of the situation as they will get the benefit from the government .

Smart student
 These students will get the most beneficial things from the government due to
their outstanding performance in academic achievements.
 They will be also be given the material they needed for study such as coursework
for the subject , books , attire and equipment for the studies .
 They will be also be provided with monthly support of financial to buys food and
clothes for basic needs during the period of their studies
 Hence ,they will need to focus on the study without having to worry about their
necessity

Weak student
 The weak student should be given more opportunities to show also their
outstanding performances in the studies other than merely academic skills.

 These students must be also been taken care of as long as they have efforts and
consistency to unleash their unknown potential .

 Those student should been taken care the similar way as the smart student to
make a just and smooth comparison between those two categories .

 Finally ,until then we can become more focus on how to pick those students
between the smart and weak one

Parent

Rich parent with smart student


 Out of all categories ,this group will not be affected by any situation ,they have
the financial stability to support their smart children to pursue a higher degree of
study

 The smart children will not necessarily need any help from the government or
other sponsor to help them in their studies

 Basically this group is hereby outstanding and can survive by its own

Rich parent with weak student


 This group having the norm of rich parent and low achiever in academic skills.

 Can be overcome by the aid of the parent providing the financial support to help
their children in the studies
 The children may slow in the progress but as long as they consistent ,the fruititon
of the effort will be shown

 Hence ,this group is also hereby outstanding in term of financial and therefore
can survive on its own.

Low salary parent with smart student /weak student

 Regardless on how well the children performed in their academic studies they
should be given an equal chance to attain a higher degree of their studies .

 The student in this categories should be chosen based on their effort and interest
rather than the results of their study in the academic performance

Argument
Regardless of who received those fundings or aid from the organization will got
the benefits as it help them to focus on their study rather than to prioritize on how to
attain financial stability on their own /parent while maintaining a good grade .

In the case of smart student ,they will get the most advantages from this
policy.By providing the welfare ,its help them to increase their study on their
coursework and enable for them to unleash more potential within themselves .The
higher the degree of the study they need to pursuit ,the higher the difficulty of the
studies will be .Hence ,as long as the aid of finance for their study and research were
consistently provided ,they will not having any problem towards this kind of issue .
Example/supportive argument

Major like the engineering studies are tough to deal with even with the normal major
of engineering like civil ,electrical .Moreover,harder major like the aerospace and
mechanical engineering are tougher to deal with especially when there is compulsory
subject that involved research during the normal period like the 3rd or 4th year of their
studies ,even there are also having it in the 2nd year for particular subject . Other than
the research ,they also need the books for the reference and attire for the laboratory
session .the average price for the book may go up to hundreds ringgit for the average
price .the attire and equipment also pricey even given at the student’ price as well .

For the weak student ,this will be unfair and unjust towards them it is not their
profound strengths during their early stage of childhood . even it is not their strength
,its not mean that is their weakness .to achieve a high degree of academic skills for
some student it may take some time until they can see the progress and fruition of the
hardship .Instead of focusing on the academic target for this student ,we may need to
focus on their practical performance for the real life application .By doing this ,we are
able to help them as well as the smart student .

Example : there are college communities who provide the practical studies in
comparison towards theoritical studies to help those student who weak in the
academic skills but have the effort and interest to pursue a higher level of studies after
schools .The period to complete their studies may lesser than the normal period from
the university and the course may easier ,but the most important is to complete and
achieved their targets to complete the course with high achievement .
Alternative

Instead of focusing those between smart and weak student .The biggest things
that the organization need to do is to look on the bigger scale .The most important
group is to look on those poor background family with the potential children for the
government to take care of.Those children are able to help their family as well as
helping themselves to attain financial stability and job in the future . Moreover ,
considering the hardships situation they endured until now ,they will be more driven
to help their family and themselves by achieving good grades in academic in
exchange for the welfare provided for them . In comparison to those richer families,
regardless of smart and weak student ,they will be able to help themselves with the
aid of money from their own side .
