3. Evil
4. Rude
5. Gossiping and slandering individual
There are many hadiths about how important having a good and strong character is. One of these
include.. .

A person’s character affects their health and wellbeing in many ways. For example, if someone has a
strong and good character, they are happy and focus on the positive aspects of life, their brain, mindset,
and body will be good & happy. However, if a person is lying and has a weak character, they will
constantly be focusing on negative things and their body, brain and mindset will be weak. Studies have
shown being happy has amazing, positive effects on your body. For example, “Dr. Samuel (a
professional) says Even just the simple act of smiling can help. “Smiling can trick your brain by elevating
your mood, lowering your heart rate, and reducing your stress. The smile does not have to be based on
real emotions because faking it works as well.””. However, being angry and focusing on negative things
all the time leads to disease such as depression. This website “WebMd” says “Depression
increases your risk of a number of diseases and other conditions by, for example, increasing levels of
stress hormones such as cortisol or adrenaline. Depression can affect the immune system, making it
harder for your body to fight infection.”. So, these reasons listed above suggest that having a good and
strong character have amazing effects on your body but having a sad and weak character have negative
effects on your body.

In conclusion, Manners and character in Islam are very important aspects of a Muslim’s life.
