LCD projector, materials for the activity, speakers, Power Point Presentation, improvised
alcohol lamp, crucible tong or test tube holder, marker, manila paper, 100 ml water, beaker or
sardine can, graduated cylinder or medicine cup, improvised tripod.

Review the pupils on the previous lessons learned.
Ask: Why is the sun’s light important?
Introduce the song entitled

“You are My Sunshine ‘’ to the pupils.
Ask: What is the song all about?

C. Presenting examples/ instances of Present a Video Presentation about some experiment of The Role of the Sun in the Water Cycle.

D. Discussing new concepts and Experiment: Divide the Class into 2 groups to do the experiment.

What to do:
1. Measure 100ml of water and pour it out into the beaker of sardine can.
2. Cover the beaker/sardine can with foil.
3. Heats the water until it boils and observe what is coming out from the beaker.
4. Observe the changes in the water while boiling
 5. Let the water cool for the least 30 minutes.
Remove the foil cover and observe where you think these droplets came from.

1. materials needed ahead of time.
