Requirements 
To take the OutSystems 10 Expert Web Developer Certification exam you must have 
obtained an OutSystems Professional Web Developer Certification (in any version). 

Exam 
Format:  Multiple choice  
Number of questions: 40 
Passing score: 70% (28/40) 
Exam duration: 2 hours (if needed) 

The exam focuses on practical knowledge and scenarios that validate your knowledge 
and professional experience. Each question has only one correct answer, and incorrect 
answers do not affect your score. 

The exam is available online, which means you can take the exam at your own 
convenience without traveling. The exams are administered by a third party, which 
ensures the integrity of your physical and virtual environments and monitors the exam 
to guarantee the fair and honest completion of the exam.

including development related topics regarding application and environment 
configuration, deployment scenarios, and troubleshooting.

Preparation 
The best way to prepare for the Expert Web Developer exam is to attend the ​Advanced 
Developer Boot Camp​ and to study the topics listed in the o
​ nline resources​ section. 
Related classroom boot camp 
The ​Advanced Developer Boot Camp​ includes one certification exam for no charge. 
Registering for the boot camp automatically registers you for an exam as well. The 
Expert exam can be taken once the boot camp is completed. If you do not have the 
required Professional exam you may take a Professional or Associate exam instead.

Registration 
Registration for the exam is available in the OutSystems Certification page: 
https://www.outsystems.com/learn/certifications/ 
Find the exam on the page and click on the Pre-register button. Then, fill the Form with 
your data and follow the steps to register for the exam. 

Exam Fee 
You agree to pay the exam fee specified during the registration process. Payment 
instructions will be sent to you after the registration process is completed. You will not 
receive your exam results until your payment is received.   
No shows   
If you fail to show up for your exam at the scheduled time, you will still be charged for 
your exam.  

Duration and Renewal for All Certifications 

Your certification is associated with a specific version of OutSystems​. For example, 
you can receive the Expert Web Developer Certification for OutSystems 10.   

Certifications will be associated with major release versions. If you want to be certified 
on the latest version, you must pass the exam for that version.
