CHILKUR BALAJI PRIEST URGES AP CM YS JAGAN TO CONSTITUTE

DHARMIKA PARISHAD
HIGHLIGHTS
Chilkur Balaji temple priest on Monday demanded the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minis-
ter YS Jagan Mohan Reddy constitute Dharmika Parishad.
Hyderabad: Chilkur Balaji temple priest on Monday demanded the Andhra Pradesh Chief
Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy constitute Dharmika Parishad.
The temple head priest CS Rangarajan said that the recent decision of TTD to
liquidate properties has brought into focus the need for a strong independent Andhra Pradesh
Dharmika Parishad which unfortunately was dissolved in 2014. Rangarajan said, while
TTD has explained that the decision was in continuation of the process initiated in 2015,
the timing is not correct as it would lead to several temple administrations liquidating valu-
able properties belonging to Deities at low prices when the economy is in a depressed
state.
Rangarajan further said that the very act of disposal of devotee donated properties
was not correct even if it was done in the past and there is a need for a review of this by
Dharmika Parishad. "As per Dharma when during the financial crisis it is the duty of the
trustees to protect the temples and its properties by even spending their personal earnings
and energy," said Rangarajan.
Temple Trustees can take a decision to liquidate the property of the Temple only
when they have exhausted all other options including liquidating their own personal proper-
ties. The same would apply to a situation where the government is a Trustee, said the
temple priest.
In 2008, in the TTD Dharma Prachara Sadas attended by over 40 Peetadhipathis, it
was resolved that a Dharmika Parishad should be constituted for each State as recom-
mended by Justice Rama Jois Committee to oversee the entire temple administration.
The Andhra Pradesh Select Committee which had perused the report of Justice
Jois had also strongly recommended for the constitution of Andhra Pradesh Dharmika
Parishad with Peetadhipathis, eminent devotees and a suitable amendment was also made
through amendment Act 33 of 2007 by the YS Rajasekhar Reddy government.

How to Win over Corona
The Corona Virus has been declared by World Health Organisation as Pandemic and citizen
of over 100 countries are suffering from the wrath of this Virus. This is a contagious disease transimiited
easily from Human to Human. Reflecting on this situation we get several thoughts. Epidemics
and Pandemics are not new to this world. Many a times people have suffered for centuries to
certain contagious diseases and could not eradicate fully. For many diseases people have discovered
powerful vaccines and medicines. In all the above episodes, the identification of the disease precedes
the medicines discovery. It is also known that when the disease gets created the medicine also
exists in the same creation but unknown till discovered. Sage Dalbhya pondered over these truths
and decided to pose a query to his preceptor, the powerful Sage Pulastya who is an ardent devotee
of Lord Narayana. This is recorded in Vishnudharmottara Purana and is recited as part of the
Apamarjana stotra which is a prayer to invoke Lord Vishnu in the form of Varaha, Narasimha,
Vamana, Vishnu and Sudarshana Chakra to restore health. Sage Dalbhya seeks

Oh! Dalbhya, great among sages, when people become materialistic and don’t think of the
supreme creator Lord Narayana who is the owner of all the living beings and non-living beings in
the world, the lack of gratitude towards him and the lack of feeling for him that we are all subservient
to him and lack of actions to sing his praise creates these deadly viruses for which also Lord Narayana
is the inner controller. He says that the Lord does this out of compassion for his people to make
them realize their true position. He suggests a great recital and various prayers to help the mankind
get rid of this situation. He suggests a great prayer which all can recite while practicing social
distancing praying to Chilkur Balaji to seek his pardon and intervention:

When we pray to Lord Narayana with true heart he can do many things to control the
Virus. He can simply make it disappear. He can help the researchers create vaccine and other
medicines as he is their inner controller. He can also provide Doctors with proper timely knowledge
to effectively treat the patients. We at Chilkur Balaji have been reciting Apamarjana stotra and
are performing other Japas to please the almighty and pray for his intervention. Since Bharat is
the designated punya land or Karma land as per various Puranas where it is said that prayers made
will be answered, it is important to ensure that the Temples of the almighty are restored and prayers
organized in them to provide relief to the mankind. It is high time that the Secular Government and
Supreme Court which are guardians of the constitution interpret Article 26 correctly and provide
the true protection of Sampradayas coming from yore. People should shun materialistic desires
on the wealth of Lord Anathapadmanabha Swamy of Thiruvananthapuram as it belongs to him
and not anyone. The Government and Courts with devotion to the Lord should restore his past
glory, rights to the deity there and ensure conduct of proper prayers so that this situation is eradicated
for the whole world. It will be good if the Supreme Court pronounces a Dharmik Judgement in
the case of Thiruvanathapuram Ananthapadmanabhasway case soon so that we can pray our Lord
better for eradication of the diseases. We continue our prayers to Chilkur Balaji for eradication of
the diseases and restore welfare of people. !

Key Contributions of Lord Ramanuja to the Mankind.....
On the auspicious occasion of Lord Ramanuja's birthday recently, it is good that we recollect his great
and unique contributions to the Mankind.
1. He unearthed the teachings of Vedas, Upanishads, Ithihaasas like Ramayana & Mahabharat including Bhagavad
gita and provided the following findings:
(a) The whole worlds made up of Materialistic items and spirits or souls (known as Jeevas) are eternally
subservient to, inseparable from and exist for the glory of the Almighty Lord Paramatma. Three main elements
exist everywhere. Infinite materials, infinite number of souls and one Lord who is all pervasive. Sage Yagnyavalkya
describes this clearly in Bruhadaaranyaopanishat.
(b) There is no material in the world which has a name and shape which is not occupied by a soul and which
is not in control of the Lord.
(c) The purpose of all lives are to attain the Lord and perform eternal service to him liberated from the bindings
of materialistic world. Every living being, every soul has the opportunity to surrender before the Lord which is the only
way to invoke his compassion to get liberated from this materialistic life. Lord will accept the surrender of anyone as
he does what he says. Everyone, irrespective of his birth caste, creed has the opportunity to surrender and get
liberated. Even the animals, plants, the so-called souls of non-living materials can be liberated by surrender.
(d) The greatest Dharma is Ahimsa and showing compassion is true meaning of Vaishnava which is adopted
by Narasimha Mehta's song 'Vaishnava janato..'
(e) Because the whole universe is part of the Body of the almightly, he practiced Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam
and completely detested disrespect and discrimination as demonic characters which one should not possess.
(f) All the difficulties in the materialistic world are caused by the almighty to the souls and praying to him is the
only way to get out of the difficulty along with performing ones ordained duties.
2. He wrote a magnum opus to called Sri Bhasyam covering all the above aspects. He wrote another magnum
opus to called describe and unearth secrets of Lord Krishna's teachings known as Gita Bhashya.. He brought to
light the doctrine of surrender to attain salvation the ultimate purpose of life. Any one, irrespective of cast, creed,
birth can be a Brahmin if he follows the Vedas and Sanathana Dharma Shastric prescriptions to letter and spirit.
This secret was said by Lord Krishna in Bhagavadgeetha which was unearthed by Lord Ramanuja. He etymologi-
cally derived the word §¿Á÷m: as §¿÷ Emoyuo §¿Á÷m:. This means people who surrender to Lord should follow the Vedic
prescriptions and attain this stage. The knowledge about Lord can reside in persons of any caste who is devoted
to Lord and any seeker can prostrate before the knowledge possessor and obtain it.
3. He established that the Temple system of worship is a must for surrender to Lord and attain purpose of life. He
unearthed the secret that Lord resides in the idols of the temples and they are not mere materialistic items.
4. He said in the presence of Lord wherever he is all can partake the prasada and co-dine in the gathering
partaking the Prasada.
5. He took efforts to unearth the secrets of teachings of Vedavyasa known as Brahma sutra by studying the rare
Boudhayana vrutti grantha in Kashmir and wrote commentaries for it at 3 levels - Sribhasya (magnum opus),
Deepam and Vedanta sara.
6. He climbed Tirumala using his knees and taught people to respect Lord's dwellings. This is an ultimate form of devotion.
7. He listened to Ramayana discourses by his preceptor Tirumalai Nambi 18 times and recorded all the inner
meanings of the sacred Itihaasa to the mankind which is manifested today in the Govindaraja's commentary.
8. He learnt key teachings and secrets of Vedic teachings from his guru Perianambigal who is considered as born in
a lower rung. He renounced his wife when she was found disrespecting learned lower caste people including his Guru.
9. He brought out the ultimate secret of success for any soul is to be subservient to any one who is devoted to
Lord. This is called Bhagavatha Sheshatvam meaning subservient to people devoted to Lord. This can be any one
in the world. As we don't know who is devoted and who is not devoted the conservatism calls one to feel subser-
vient to the entire world. This feeling will eliminate discrimination.
10. He brought the teachings of Alwars to light by teaching its commentaries to his students and propogating
them to show the path of true devotion and salvation. The great Arayayirappadi is result of his contribution to one
of his elite students- Tirukkurugai Piran Pillan.
Remembering him on his recent auspicious birthday it is good to realise that we are all subservient to almighty
Lord Narayana and pray to him for our liberation from diseases like Corona and ultimately surrender to him
following the procedures of surrender and become liberated by all the materialistic bindings and attain his glorious
abode Paramapada at the end of this life itself. It is important to accept the Supremacy of Lord. The feelings like
everyone will become Lord at the end of realization are not feasible and possible to be obtained as per Vedas.
Also it is incorrect to deduce that there is no almighty and no birth and death cycle. These are illusions and one
need to come out of it and prostrate before the almighty. That is the only way today to get liberated from the
troubles faced in this world and from the bondages of this world.
