At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
a. Identify the materials of kitchen tools commonly found in the kitchen.
b. Value the uses and importance of the kitchen utensils.
c. Demonstrate the proper use of kitchen utensils.

1. Motivation
What are the kitchen tools found in your kitchen?
Are you familiar with the different materials of kitchen utensils commonly found in your kitchen?
The teacher will show a picture to the students.

 Then ask: What can you say about the picture?

2. Presentation
The teacher will show again pictures of different kitchen utensils to the students and let them identify
it. Then ask the students: Based on the tools presented to you, can you identify the materials for each?
What are those?
What are the different materials of kitchen utensils commonly found in your kitchen?
1. What are the characteristics of each material?
2. Let the students do the activity:
Direction: On you notebook, list down all the utensils you can find in your kitchen. Identify the
materials of your kitchen tools. Follow the format below:

characteristics of each.

5. If you were given a chance to create a new tools and equipment, what would it be? How will people use it?

The class will be divided into 3 groups. Each group will prepare a short skit demonstrating the proper
use of kitchen utensils for 3 minutes. (
