GUIDE IN RESUMPTION OF OPERATIONS

(Post-Quarantine New Normal Operations)

As discussed with you based from reading materials and articles, the new behaviour of consumers is towards:

MARKET:
- Many people will wait longer and will return over time as they rebuilt comfort and trust that they will be safe. It
is only with the availability of vaccine to cure Covid-19 that all will return back to normal
- Traffic will mostly be adults
- Inclining with on-line trends: buying, watching, learning, meetings, socialization, etc.
- Will limit travel or out of home to more important deeds
Assumptions:
- Very low mall traffic
- Mall traffic and us will mostly be those living nearby
- Dependent on local markets especially those locations highly dependent on tourism

MARKET EXPENDITURES:
- Selective cash-out behaviour, based on needs, priorities, and will be budgeted
- Tendency to save more and spend less
- Limited cash
Assumptions:
- Low sales, low income, cut on operational cost focusing only on essential needs of the stores (i.e. manpower, cut
on electrical consumptions, save on purchases, other expenses)

SAFETY:
- Safety and health conscious consumers and organizations, are becoming much more careful about the people
and products they interact with
- High regards with social/physical distancing, use of masks/gloves, looking for intense sanitation, temperature
checks
- Paranoia with gatherings also crowded places
Assumptions:
- Market will be choosy among amusement operators based on the safety impressions
- Accepted new norms by the market like constant sanitation, wearing of masks, social distancing, etc.

From here are my insights that GWOF and WOF stores should be implementing and maintaining upon resumption of
operations:

I. Workforce
1. A full workforce may be required in setting up the stores for re-opening. However, the stores once re-opened
shall maintain a skeletal workforce in operating the store. Recommended daily plantilla should be at least 50% of
the original plantilla, unless otherwise deemed necessary by the Branch Head (BH) to adjust with the approval of
the concerned Area Manager (AM).
Recommendation for WOF, but subject for validation of applicability by the BHs/AMs:
- 2 Officers: 1 opening, 1 closing (may add 1 but will offset from crew)
- Crew / RBC / Cashier may be maintained at 50% workforce
- No Guard (Temporarily until necessary)
I leave up to you for GWOF
2. Store hours will depend on the mall operating hours. However, 6-working hours may still be applied as
necessary.
3. Checking of body temperature upon reporting to work after entry frisking to be conducted by the Branch
Officers / Security Guard if available. Individual body temperature must be recorded at guard’s logbook for
reference.
4. Employee with temperature of 37.6’C and above may need to be isolated for awhile in a designated area inside
the store but not inside the office. After 5 mins, will conduct temperature check again and if still above, will be
required to proceed to the nearest Barangay Health Emergency Response Team to handle the employee. Store is
also advised to refer to the guidelines of the Mall for persons with high temperatures.
5. Wearing of face masks by all store employees is enforced at all time except when eating and drinking.
6. Wearing of gloves is required for all store employees while at play area, especially cashiers and in performing
messy works like token counting, retrievals, cash counts, cleaning, etc.
7. All store employees are required to use alcohol and hand sanitizer upon entry and exit at store, office and
whenever necessary.
8. Physical distancing is also required at all times at the play area, inside the store office and locker room.

II. Guide for Social/Physical Distancing

1. Store entrances will be designated and installed with signage as entry and exit sides.
- Stores with only 1 access should provide demarcation line sticker on floor. Using the right side as right of
way for entry and exit, that is, the entry side is at the right in going in, while exit is on the right in going out.
- For stores with 2 accesses, one access will be designated as entrance, while the other as exit also in
reference of the right side as right of way.
2. With this, Cashier’s Booth must never be located at the entrance/exit.
3. A start of the line marker should be installed on floor separating the counter of booths by 1.5 meters from the
line.
4. Cueing marker on floors separating customers in line by 1 meter apart from the line marker at Major Ride’s
cueing area, Cashier's Booth and at counting and claiming area of Prize Booth must be provided.
5. At Prize Booth, maintain the separation of cueing lines by providing a section for Counting and Claiming at
separate ends of the booth.
6. Branch Head must ensure perimeter distancing in arranging the machines. Separation of each machine should
be at least 2 persons in between playing customers.
7. Players for machines with multiple players at any given time should be maintained at least 1 player apart as
follows:
- for 2-player machine only 1 player is allowed
- for 3-player machine 2 players are allowed
- for 4-player machine 2 players are allowed
- for 6-player machine 3 players are allowed
- for 8-player machine 4 players are allowed
- for 10-player machine 5-6 players are allowed

8. Frontliners must be vigilant and should enforce the number of players per machine as well as distancing for both
for playing and non-players in utmost politeness.

III. Policies on sanitation

1. Hand sanitizers and alcohols will be provided at store entrances, prize booth, cashier's booth, KTV area and
major rides with reminders for customer's use.
2. All frontliners will be provided with small hand sanitizers to spray on the hands of the customers while roaming
the play area.
3. Prize Booth and cashier counters should be sprayed or wiped-off by sanitizer in-between transactions intervals.
4. Store sanitation should be part of the opening and closing procedures:
- play area and office: floors, walls, cabinets / knobs, door knobs / handles, glass panel, stools, chairs,
tables, lights switch, etc
- booths: counters, glass panels, shelves, cabinets, door knobs, shelves, items
- machines: body, power cords, control panel, joysticks, push buttons, coin slots, glass panel, front panels,
handles, guns, accessories, etc.
5. Machines control panels, buttons, guns, steering wheels, coinslots, glass panels, handles and other accessories
constantly in contact while playing should also be sanitized every after used of customers.
6. KTV rooms sanitation (microphone, sofa, control panel, lights switch, wall fan switch, etc.) must be performed
before, after store operations and every after use of customers.
7. Markings on where sit inside KTV observing social distancing must be imposed. This will also determine how
many KTV users will be allowed.
8. Disinfectant solutions may use as follows:
- Bleach Solution: 100ml bleach (sonrox) + 900 ml water
- Use of Lysol
- Alcohol 70% solution
- Hand sanitizers

IV. Revised Existing Operation Standards and Offerings

1. Reduce density of machines by shutting down none essential machines that will cater to market. Machine mix
should have more quantity of MG and PD machines operating to focus on building the target adult markets,
likewise other nature of games for the other mix.
2. Shut down machines enough to arrange them in reference to distance mention above.
Note: For safekeeping of machines that will not be operated may apply the following:
- If can be accommodated inside the store, placed facing backwards and compressed at the back of the
stores and must be covered with black cloth for safekeeping until further directions
- Least option is to rent from mall for storage area at minimal costs
- Use of PLD warehouse or avail for a local warehouse serving cluster of areas
3. Classify the machines as a guide for which machines to maintain operations as follows:
Class A
> are core machines either from top 20 of the closing store or based on standard list whichever has higher sales
> newly purchased non-core machines but with exemplary high sales say above 20K for VM and KR, 30K for RM
and PD, and 50K for MG
> should be operated at all time

Class B
> machines either new and old, within and above the standard ASPM
> maybe selected for operations as variety and if ever as space filler
> machines maybe reserved for transfer to other operating stores replacing their Class C machines described
below

Class C
> machines that are low earners, obsolete/old in edition and looks
> defective machines pending repair but below ASPM
> will not be operated, maybe recommended for disposal or outright dismantling.

4. Playlands, softplay and play houses should not be operated.

5. Redemption Item variety may be maintained at the range of 60 - 80 SKUs where 60% to 80% maybe displayed in
the booth. This is since redemption market is anticipated to be at minimal (low demand) and suppliers may not
be readily available (low availability of items).
Please be guided:
- Purchase of items may be resorted to local purchases when the store resumes operations until such
time that WOF on-line ORS, central purchasing and logistics stabilized upon resumption of HO
operations.
- Make use of the fast moving, slow moving and non-moving feature of the redemption program for items
and categories to purchase.
- RIOT and PDIOS for reference of quantity may not be reliable as of this time since lead time is not yet
stable. It will be advisable to compute manually for the quantity to purchase. Please coordinate with
your superiors for guidance.
6. Reduce TVS offerings to only at the minimum package.
7. Include in the signage at cashier’s booth machines, attractions, rides, etc. that will not be available as of this
time.

These for now. Hope this helps to speed up the new guides.

Thanks
