OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

C 1. The metering skid shall consist of meter runs, density meter, block valves, control
valves, automatic sampling system, connection for future expansion, Nitrogen
purge connections, piping, instruments, electrical equipment and associated
structural steel.

C 2. Each meter run shall include a single pipeline meter and its associated inlet MOV,
strainer, flow conditioning section, control valve, outlet MOV.

C 3.(a) Supplier shall provide one meter skid with two operating plus one stand by
installed meter run with each meter run going to headers to Berth 71 or Berth 72
from the outlet of the meter skid.

C 3.(b) Measurements for Custody Transfer of product shall be in US customary and SI

units.

C 3.(c) Turbine meters shall be sized per 7.1.2 of SAES-Y-103.

C 3.(d) Strainer shall be sized to provide no more than 15 KPa (2 psi) pressure drop at
the maximum design rate for the meter or group of meters when basket is clean.
Strainer bodies shall be carbon steel and shall be designed constructed and
tested in accordance with ASME Section VIII D1. An ASME code stamp is not
required

C 3.(e) Straightening vanes shall follow SAES-Y-103, Section 7.3.8.

C 3.(f) Piping within the metering skid shall follow SAES-Y-L-132, Section 5.1.

C 4. Benzene is metered to load at one berth only at time. Design loading rate of
650 m3/hr to a single berth using one loading arm.

5. Supplier shall notify the minimum flow rate through each meter run.

6 Allowable pressure drop for metering skid shall be less than 1.4 bar @ maximum
design flow rate.

7 All equipment, piping, valves, etc to be skid mounted.

8 All components of the meter skid shall be in accordance with SAES-Y-103, Royalty/
Custody Metering of Hydrocarbons Liquids Engineering Standard.

9 Supplier shall follow Material Selection for Piping Systems Engineering Standard
SAES-L-132 for velocity criteria for Liquid lines.

C 10 All skid mounted piping and pressure containing components shall be designed and
constructed in accordance with ANSI B31.3, SAES-L-105 and 01-SAMSS-010.

C 11 Valve selection shall conform to the requirements of Selection of Valves SAES-L-

108, Section 6.3.6. Check valves to be lug type.
C
12 Thermal relief valves shall conform to the requirements of SAES-L-140 and SAES-
J-600.

C 13 Specific design for automatic sampling system shall conform to the requirement of
SAES Y-501 Sect. 6.2.
