and certification, pipeline painting, coating and insulation, review of procedures and
inspection test plan, HSS (heat shrinkable sleeve coatings. Pipe in pipe insulations,
comprehensive knowledge of codes and standards, inspection of multi-coat system,
special coatings, internal coating of pipelines, antifouling coatings, skid resistance
coatings on helipad and helideck, fusion-bonding epoxy coating, poly-urethane
insulation, maintenance painting, and experience of third party inspection, client
inspector, contractor inspector, laboratory tests and supervision of multi-national
workforce, coating survey and evaluation.

JAN. 2013-FEB. 2013 TOTAL EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION. (OML 100,
ODD1 PLATFORM MAINTENANCE PAINTING) PAINTING CAMPAIGN PROJECT.
Ø Monitored the isolation and containment of sensitive equipment on the platform
before washing and blasting operation commenced, material transfer and
equipment layout.
Ø Carried out salt contamination test.
Ø Monitored ambient condition (Relative humidity, ambient, steel temperature and
dew point temperature) during blasting and painting activities.
Ø Measured WFT/DFT of the coatings.
Ø Inspected blasting and painting activities and ensured compliance to specification.
Ø Prepared and sign daily inspection report.

Ø Witnessed procedure qualification trial (PQT) and personnel Qualification for 42”
O.U.R gas pipeline project.
Ø Monitored ambient conditions (Relative humidity, ambient temperature, steel
temperature and dew point temperature during blasting and coating operations on
site).
Ø Inspect blasted surface, coatings and ensure specified overlap on the parent
coating.
Ø Monitored pipe stringing on the right of way, pipe bending.
Ø Measured and recorded the WFT/DFT of the coatings.
Ø Ensured validity of the coating materials and storage conditions.
Ø Ensured that all the equipment used on the site are calibrated and are in good
working condition.
Ø Ensured specified coating materials is used on site.
Ø Witness plant calibration for iron ore, cement, and sand water absorption before
CWC operation.
Ø Inspected concrete weight coating (CWC on PE) of 42” O.U.R gas pipelines by
impingement,
Ø Checked outer diameter (OD), weight (buoyancy), wire mesh overlap, PE to wire
mesh and wire mesh to top of the CWC coated pipes.
Ø Witnessed laboratory test-cement wash, cube and core crushing to verify
compressive strength of the coating at PCEN yard.
Ø Monitored coating and load-out of 42” coated pipes from PCN yard to site.
