Since 1959, Daytona International Speedway has been welcoming race fans to the hallowed
grounds of “The World Center of Racing” for high-speed, heart-pounding racing action on the
historic high banks and famed Superstretch. This year we’re more excited than ever to see you
here as we celebrate the historic 50th running of “The Great American Race” – the Daytona 500
– in February and host our annual July spectacular under the lights. We are thrilled you have
chosen Daytona International Speedway to experience some of NASCAR’s most prestigious races
of the year.
For those of you who have been here before, thanks for coming to see us again. For those of you
who are visiting “The World Center of Racing” for the first time, we hope you get the chance to
experience everything DIS has to offer including: Our unique, one-of-a-kind Sprint FANZONE in the
infield, The Midway located outside the Speedway in Turn 4 and the Daytona 500 Experience, the
“Official Attraction of NASCAR.”
As you wander around the historic grounds of Daytona International Speedway, you’ll notice a
few changes including the addition of the “Daytona 500 Champion’s Walk of Fame” outside The
Daytona 500 Experience and a new addition to the Sprint FANDECK over the Sprint Cup Garages
in the Sprint FANZONE. Some things change but mystic and aura of this storied Speedway
remains the same.
Should you need anything while you’re here, please don’t hesitate to call on us. The DIS team is
here to make your visit a memorable one. From our pre-race entertainment to the post-race wrap
up, “Fans R 1st @ Daytona” and we will do everything possible to insure that you have a great
visit. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. We take your input seriously.
