Article summary

The thesis of the article is based on the selection of the optimal viable location of a
logistic center which is based on the selection of multiple criterions. A logistical center can be
affected by the infrastructure (transportation systems), the inflow of goods and the designated
towns where there can be expansion services of the center. to arrive a decision on the location
that is optimal, the article utilized the multiple decision analysis to support the decision making
for arriving at the best location by an analysis of the social, economic and the present advantages
that each of the selected areas of location under study could be used as present in the documents
and the policies of the municipalities of the area.

The article is presenting the optimal and advantageous considerations for the location of
the center Lubuskie by a consideration of measures in criteria’s such as accessible infrastructure,
topography and geographical features of the area which could be complemented by other factors
such as research science and education and the legal and administrative conditions. The possible
location of the site is reached and a decision made by consideration of the elimination of the
various sites that don’t fit the required characteristics of the location projected. The study results
indicate the most viable options for the location of the center that fulfill the multiple analysis
criteria are in the towns like Gorzow Wielkopolski, Nowa Sól, Kostrzyn, and Zielona Gora and
the least viable in the list are Czerwieńsk and Żagan. Support on decision making that was based
on the multi-analysis gave the rank available on the cities and laid down the foundation for future
studies.

The criteria presented by the multi-analysis is suitable for the establishment of the best
place for the location of the logistic center in a manner that gives the decision maker with the
ranks starting from the best suitable option to the least option. Economic development in a region
may vary due to various logistic centers which bring better transport means and also reduce the
costs of operation and delivery periods also shorten.

The economic development of the region may depend on a logistics center, which plans
streamlined freight transport, reduces the cost of its operation and shortens delivery times when
fully equipped with technical infrastructure. Information that was analyzed to classify the best
options shows that there are areas that gave the potential growth but there is a need for these
potential areas to be worked on for improvements. The method on the multi-analysis is however
applicable in any place in the world for selection of the optimal locations.
