Scope of Supply:

Specifications for Anchor & chains

 Two (2) Stockless bower Anchor with high holding force together with shackle and stud link chain cable
to be supplied in accordance with the class rules.
 Chain cables to be made from latest NCD 3914 & NCD 3909 standards.
 Diameter 40mm, U3 stud-link-chain cables with a minimum length of 233.75m, on each side as per
classification Society.

Inspection:

The Anchor & Chain Cable to be inspected tested and certified by the Classification Society.

GENERAL

  The dry weight of:
1. The entire anchors & chain cables
 All drawings, diagrams, installation, commissioning & maintenance manuals
are to be provided with the equipment in both hard & soft copy.
1. Weight  Estimated weight in Kg of the equipment and components should be
indicated in the drawing. The weighed weight of major items of the
equipment at the time of dispatch should be indicated in the dispatch
documents. It is to be ensured that the weight of the equipment is kept within
+/- 2% of the estimated weight.

 One set of tools for Anchor Capstan. Mooring capstan & Chain stopper side
electronics also to be supplied.
 OEM’s test certificate as per class requirement to be provided.
7. Certification
 Manufacturer’s guarantee certificate to be provided.
 Any item not listed above but required for satisfactory operation of the
equipment has to be a part of scope of supply of OEM.

Note  Firm to provide clause wise acceptance with deviation/comments if any to be
forwarded separately.
