Modus Operandi

Ideation 1 (10 %)

For the starting, students are required to bring his/her laptops in order to get initial information from the internet sources (google, websites,
pinterest, behance etc..). Group brainstorming session will be conducted that consists of 4 students in a group. Every member groups should
be actively helps other members by giving ideas as guided ideation template matrix will be provided. The objective of brainstorming session is
to generate large numbers of ideas for each individual subject focus. The outputs of brainstorming are ‘white mahjong paper’ and later to be
uploaded to padlet. Marks will be given based on the students’ active participation. At the end of week 4, written report regarding the subject
matter need to be submitted as well (approximately 1000 words).

Stationery Requirements

1. White Mahjong Paper

2. Artlines Marker (4 different colors)
Ideation 2 (10%)

Ideation 2 is a continuation from verbatim brainstorming outputs. Students are required to translate every verb in brainstorming outputs into
related photos/pictures. These photos and pictures would be categorized into different folders. Again these categorical folders need to be
uploaded to padlet (JPEG format). Marks will be given based on the quantity and relatedness of the photos/pictures towards subject focus.

Ideation 3 (20%)

Ideation 3 is about concept development based on the preliminary research conducted from ideation 1 and 2. It requires students to prepare
conceptual boards/moodboards by applying those related categorized imageries with collage techniques. The objective of concept
boards/moodboards is to saturate the subject matter into thematic focus. Students are required to provide 20 concepts/mood boards in A3
