-investigatory adventure
-"sherlock holmes"-ish
-some heist moments but leaning towards investigation and talking to people
-characters should have a solid motivation to investigate mysteries with their companions
-ALL Characters should have something to do in roleplay scenes, exploration, and investigation
-key skills are deception, insight, intimidation, investigation, perception, persuasion, stealth
Personal note:
-more of a long multiple sessional one-shot campaign, think of it as a movie, so you will let go off your
characters. Unless we run "Dungeon of the Mad Mage" and be able to connect your characters. DMM is
more of a dungeon crawl from what I've heard.
- Due to his negligence and preferential treatment for Neverwinter, Lord Dagult Neverember lost his
seat as the Open Lord of Waterdeep to Laeral Silverhand, the current open lord of Waterdeep.
- Crime is on the rise. Numerous criminial factions in Waterdeep appear more active, going so far as to
fight one another in the streets. In response, the High Wizard of Waterdeep, Vajra "Blackstaff" Safahr,
has activated her independent enforcers, Force Gray and the Gray Hands.
- Crime is punished.
Character connections:
These are just some bonds to better connect your characters with each other, as well as to the
story.
And build whatever you want. As long as we have fun as a group, we good.
Parting words:
Janjan not a practiced DM sooo go easy on me hahahahaha tas first actual adventure ay W:DH kaya
ayun
Janjan and friends will also practice improv during our adventure in Waterdeep especially in our
downtimes, NO SHAMING in roleplay, and all should have a chance to speak their thoughts and action.
We are among friends, respect and fun is our topmost priority hehe
Will need a fair rules lawyer in the beginning coz I won’t remember all of the rules, also, “fun trumps
rules” if the rules hinder our fun and the story, we may rule it out
PEACE OUT!!!
