Technical Coordinator-Climate Change and Disaster Management

Duration: Fixed term contract until March 31, 2021 with possibility of extension

The Role
Technical Coordinator- Climate Change and Disaster Management is responsible for facilitating the project-
“Enhancing CSOs roles as key development partners for climate resilient policy and practices” in province 2
and technical support to disaster management related works of Oxfam in Nepal. As a technical coordinator, the
post holder will be overall responsible for project management and providing technical support to partners to
implement the project. This position is also responsible for coordination and relation building with
stakeholders of the project and enhancing technical and managerial capacities of the partner NGOs for climate
change and Disaster Management.

What we are looking for


Technical Coordinator- Climate Change and Disaster Management will require to be exceptional, dedicated,
and highly motivated professional, with a strong commitment to Oxfam's values and beliefs with the following
qualification and competencies:

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/ forestry/ environment science or social science with the work experience
of climate change and disaster management in Nepal.
Hands on project management experience with at least 5 years’ experience in project and partnership
management and Financial Management, online MIS, and the use of excel.
Technical knowledge/experience in climate change and disaster management sector
