investment specialist with $27 billion in AUM and an established track record in primary, secondary,
direct, and co-investment strategies. Founded in 1994, PA is an independent, employee-owned firm and
Registered Investment Advisor with the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission. The Firm works closely with
limited partners and clients to customize private market investment solutions via PA-sponsored funds and
separate accounts. PA’s three global offices are in the U.S., Hong Kong and Switzerland.

Job Overview
PA is seeking an intelligent, creative, and motivated individual to join the Firm’s marketing / client services
team in Darien, CT. The contemplated position will be involved in marketing all of PA’s investment
products and services, including commingled funds, separate accounts and portfolio monitoring services.
At the VP level, the role will have responsibility for managing a wide range of client service and marketing
/ fund-raising activities across a specific geographic territory (to be determined). The successful candidate
will work in a team-oriented environment and have the ability to contribute meaningfully to the success
of the Firm. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter possessing strong intellectual curiosity and an
eagerness to learn about PA’s investment strategies in private equity, private real estate, and private
credit. To be successful in the role, the candidate must: (i) possess strong communication skills, both
written and oral; (ii) be organized and able to manage several different tasks and projects at one time; (iii)
within a reasonable timeframe be able to explain / describe PA investment strategies to a wide range of
audiences, from CEO / CIO level personnel at public and corporate pension funds to consultants to entry-
level staff; (iv) work well independently and in group settings with minimal supervision; (v) communicate
clearly and effectively with junior and senior professionals across the Firm, including accounting,
administrative, investment, legal, and other team members; and (vi) possess strong interpersonal,
quantitative, and technical skills and be able to apply them effectively on the job.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


− Interfacing with investors, clients, placement agents, and other external service providers
− Making outbound and fielding inbound calls from existing and prospective investors
− With other senior investment professionals, presenting PA offerings to prospective investors
− Planning and preparing for roadshows, traveling to investor meetings in a territory
− Creating, writing, editing and updating marketing materials for fund and service offerings
− With other marketing team members, writing and editing lengthy, detailed RFP / RFI responses
− With junior marketing team members, identifying, researching and qualifying prospects
− Verifying and maintaining current information in the company’s CRM software

Requirements
Minimum requirements for the Vice President position include, but are not limited to, the following:
− Bachelor’s degree with a strong undergraduate track record
− 5-10 years of experience in finance, financial sales/marketing or investment management
− Direct experience in fundraising for private markets funds, in-house or as a placement agent
− Experience working with institutional investors and their consultants/advisors, family offices,
and wealth management platforms in North America
− Proficiency in Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
− Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
− Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
− Strong organizational aptitude
− Impeccable attention to detail
− Ability to work with and for a variety of clients and colleagues
− Confidence to interact with all levels of management, both internally and externally

In addition to the above requirements, the following are highly desired:


− MBA degree from a competitive graduate school of business
− CFA or CAIA designation
− Relevant undergraduate course work, internships, and/or extracurricular activities
− Experience with DealCloud and/or similar database / CRM software
