That’s Fine

I’ll notify the H.E

Out of curiosity who in the H.E. gave us permission to remove the cabins?

I can give them that name as confirmation as well.

Thanks

Hi

No sorry everything was destroyed.

Where the boxes had been in the water for so long and the condensation that formed around
the building itself everything was mouldy and virtually like mulch.

The cabins are no longer there, as the HE gave us permission to remove them.

Sorry that there is nothing left at all.

We had shred-it come to site on authorisation and everything was shredded there and
then.

Kind Regards,

Hi Thanks

I think they (DCP claims) would have been labelled as final accounts which the commercial team
also do as well.

So are there still files in Ower?

If so I will take a drive down there to have a look at whats left

Hi

· The extent of the water damage - How many records were destroyed? And
what period of time did they cover? – There were no claims records
destroyed, it was all Commercial files
·
· Also, that the leak was discovered in December 14 and all water damaged
records were subsequently destroyed in May/June 15? – this was due to
waiting for all the insurance to be sorted and photographed etc., and the
green light given from Commercial.
·
· Were all the damaged records relating to green claims or were they a mix
of records?  We only destroyed Commercial files which was authorised by
as they were all final accounts boxes that were finished with.
I was not aware of any DCP files.

I hope this helps you.

Kind Regards,

You’ll recall you helped look for some information in January and advised it was
water damaged.

The Information Commissioner’s Office are now involved and I require some
further information.

Can you confirm:

· The extent of the water damage - How many records were destroyed? And
what period of time did they cover?
· Also, that the leak was discovered in December 14 and all water damaged
records were subsequently destroyed in May/June 15?
· Were all the damaged records relating to green claims or were they a mix
of records?

I’m sorry to ask but a swift response would be appreciated.

Best regards,

8912 during next week please?
Thanks again

Morning
Good News & Bad news ,
Good News, I think I have managed to identify the claim you are talking about. For your
information our reference is EMGC 8912
Bad News, unfortunately this claim is one that was opened and closed under our old paper filing
system as it was closed, was not transferred into an electronic format for me to vie on our
newer storage system.
All our paper records were moved to one of the depots for storage so I will need to take a trip
down there to see if the information is still there, unfortunately the depot is Ower and about 40
miles away from my current location!
I won’t be able to go there this week as I am preparing our month end reports but should be able
to have a look early next week if ok?
Many thanks
