Practice Plan

Warm-Up - 5 Minutes
form shooting instead of throwing baskets from the 3, I'd like to see them all doing
this while waiting for the practice to start. This is a one handed drill, they move back
after a set number of baskets. This will clean up their shooting and help push back their
range.
If they have particular skills they want to improve we can give them individual
drills to work on.

Ball Handling 10-15 Minutes

b. Moving bob bigelow dribbling use cone weaves
this drill is good for teaching them to control their dribble and stay low

Passing 10-15 minutes


a. Stationary
b. Transition

Shooting - 15 minutes
 Lay-ups
▪ layups this one is hook shots but same setup for layups
▪ competitive layup
 Form Shooting same as warmup drill
 Shoot off the catch pivot stepthrough for layup
 Shoot off the dribble

Defense 10-15 Minutes
