About the speaker:-


CA Sandesh Mundra –

Sandesh is actively associated with clients in the industrial


construction sector having worked with civil contractors for the past
six years. He has taken various lectures at the professional forums
on the topics dealing with the construction sector. He also possesses
special skills in structuring the indirect tax component of the works
contracts and has also enjoyed a good track record of convincing the statutory authorities in the
said workings taking proper support of the judicial decisions wherever required. He and his team
have travelled and visited several construction sites in various parts of the country like Orissa,
Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharasthra, Madhya Pradesh etc. During the course of said visits he has
been to very large industrial complexes, refineries, power plants etc.
Apart from the degree of Chartered Accountancy he possesses several post qualification degrees
of ICAI namely on Information System Audit, Insurance and Risk Management (with all India
Third Rank), International Financial Reporting standards. Additionally he has also secured First
rank on an all India basis in the International Trade Laws and WTO certificate examinations of
the Institute. He is actively associated with the CA Institute activities and is a Co-Chairman at
the Audit and Assurance Committee for the year 2010-11 along with membership in several
other committees. As master of ceremony he possesses the distinguished track record of taking
part in several national and regional level seminars and conferences.
