Active Base Oil- M is odourless Anti-strip improves the
bond between asphalt and aggregates, overcoming

problems associated with poor adhesion. HMA mixes treated
with Active Base Oil- M exhibit superior resistance to
moisture-related damage and stripping, resulting in longer Physical form Dark brown liquid
lasting pavements. In troublesome systems, Active Base Oil-
M will provide significant improvements in Tensile Strength Density (lbs/gal) 9.1
Ratio (TSR) and retained strength of HMA mixes.

Storage Specific gravity 1.09

Active Base Oil- M is typically stored at ambient
temperatures of 20-25°C (68-77°F). Mild heating to 40- 50°C Pour Point -12°C (10°F)
(104-122°F) will improve handling and pumping. Active Base
Oil- Anti-strip should not be stored at temperatures in
excess of 75°C (167°F) for a prolonged period. Flash Point 145°C (293°F)
