Problem/Opportunity Statement
Since its establishment in 2008, San Roque National High School (formerly known as Antipolo
National High – Reyes Annex) boasts itself as one of the largest public secondary schools in the
Division of Antipolo City with students, faculty, and non-teaching staffs doing their utmost
responsibilities in order to mold a learning community within Brgy. San Roque. Part of providing a
learning community is the involvement of ICT-enabled systems and procedures, which the school
has not yet fully prioritized. It has been found out that the school’s information system in the World
Wide Web is underdeveloped. Fortunately, it has an official Facebook page where news and
announcements are posted and exchange of ideas is allowed. However, these transactions can be made
possible with the existence of a website independently built from social media platforms. In order to
stay ahead of the changing and competitive learning environment of the school, an effective and
efficient information system is needed.
Project Objectives
To provide an online platform which facilitates any information about San Roque National High
School and enables students, faculty, and non-teaching staffs in and out of the school to access it.
Project Description
An in-house development system will be implemented in a form of a website that will serve as a
streamline of issuances, news and announcements, and other information about the school. It will also
include an online forum where anyone can provide feedback and raise concerns. It is assured that the
project will follow the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
