Vehicle Examination Fees

The public is hereby informed that as from 01 July 2020, the following fees will be
applicable for examination of vehicles at the Vehicle Examination Stations including
Rodrigues Fitness Center:

a) Heavy Motor Cars - 750
b) Motor Cars - 600
c) Motorcycles/Auto cycles - 300
d) Tractors/Prime Movers - 750
e) Buses, including contract buses - 750
f) Locomotives - 750
g) Trailers - 750
h) Goods Vehicles, other than 3-wheelers - 750
i) Heavy Motor Vehicles - 750
j) Verification of particulars in respect of-
(i) Motorcycles and auto cycles at –
(A) Examination Station - 150
(B) Importer’s premises - 225
(ii)Other Vehicles at –
(A) Examination Station - 300
(B) Importer’s premises - 375

k) Duplicate certificate of fitness - 300

l) Certified copy of certificate of fitness - 300
m) Change in particulars - 300
n) Provision of new chassis/engine number - 300
o) Taxi - 450
p) First re-examination - Nil
q) Second re-examination or subsequent - (same as examination fee)

r) Examination following black smoke/prohibition - 300

s) Outdoor examination of an oversized vehicle - 900
