Which is easy, to solve a problem or create a problem, what do you think?

By looking at the illustration bellow, what do you think is the problem?

Engagement
(3 minutes)

Today, we will be able to create a real-life problem and apply the concept of law
of sines and cosines to solve our problem we created.
Exploration Activity 1. What is your problem?
(10 minutes) Direction:
1. Form 5 groups and work together as a team.
2. Create a problem situation based on what you see in the illustration below.
3. Present a solution to the problem you made.
4. Each group will be given a performance rubric to rate the other group.
5. The activity is worth 30 points good for 10 minutes.

 The teacher will ask these guide questions to deepen their understanding about
the topic:
Explanation
a) What is the problem you made all about?
(5 minutes)
b) Were you able to incorporate the law of cosines/sines in the problem?
How?

Activity 2. Bookmark
Elaboration Let the student make their generalization by asking the following
(12 minutes) a) how importance the law of sines and cosines in solving problems?
b) How would it make your life easier if you apply these concept in real life
problems?
Evaluation In a 1 whole sheet of paper. 15 points.
(15 minutes)
