In English, sentences usually have the following organization:

SUBJECT (usually a noun) + ACTION (always a verb) + COMPLEMENT

Ex. Peter loves Mary
Joseph and Patty work at a shopping center

Statements:
SUBJECT + VERB + COMPLEMENT
Dogs eat bones.
My children love pets.

Negatives:
SUBJECT + AUXILIARY + NOT + VERB + COMPLEMENT
John and Mary do not like Chinese food.
We are not going on vacation.

Questions:
(WH-) + AUXILIARY + SUBJECT + VERB + COMPLEMENT
Do you visit friends on weekends?
Where are they studying English now?
