he knelt on Floyd's neck despite the victim's pleas that he could not breath for about nine minutes.

Moreover, three police officers namely: Tou Thao, Thomas Lane and J. Alexander Kueng were also
arrested and terminated from their duties.

However, protesters from different countries marched with their slogans denouncing racial
discrimination and police brutality with chants of "No Justice, No Peace". The said places that have
joined were as follows: London, England; Berlin, Germany; Manchester, United Kingdom; Seoul, South
Korea; Sydney, Australia; Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; France; Canada; Tokyo, Japan; Argentina; Jamaica and
Philippines.

“Racism happens here in Korea. Whether they are from China, black or other immigrant workers, they
are mocked and looked down on," Shim Ji-hoon, South Korea protest organizer said.

Monrovia, Liberia held a memorial service with their African People Movement banner in honor of
George Floyd's death on June 8.

"The commemoration of this event is beyond the incident that was witnessed on the day of Africa
Union. This day was critically set aside for us to reflect on the 40o years of brutality, of suppression and
oppression of this black race," Mary Kerkula, a student of University of Liberia and a member of African
People Movement stated.

"A threat to black man anywhere is a threat to Africans everywhere and this spirit of solidarity must not
be the end but must begin to remind our conscious of how oppressed we have been and every black
man has the right to unbend himself from the chin of slavery," Kerkula added.
Meanwhile, artists Aziz Asmar and Anis Hamdoun unveiled their mural painting of George Floyd on a
wall of destroyed building in Idlib, Syria.

On the other hand, #BlackLivesMatter was founded on 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon
Martin's murderer. Black Lives Matter Foundation Inc. is a global organization in United States, United
Kingdom and Canada whereas, the mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to
