Introduction:

A line is made up of an infinite number of points and it has only length.


i.e., a line has no end points on either side.
A line segment has two end points.
A ray has one end point.

Concurrent Lines: Three or more lines are said to be concurrent if
there is a point which lies on all of them.
AB, CD and EF are concurrent lines.

ANGLE: Recall that an “angle” is formed when lines or line segments
meet.

Complementary Angles: When the sum of the measures of the two


angles is 90, the angle is called “Complementary angles”.

Supplementary Angles: Sum of two angles which are supplementary
is 180

i.e., x + y = 180
