ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First of all, I thank and praise God for all of His goodness,
mercy, blessings and love for my life and my family. I
glorify God because of His promises that He had been
fulfilling since I came to life. I thank Jesus for the salvation
and now I have this new life that I enjoy every day of my
life.
I am also blessed and very grateful of my partner Warren
who taught me how to be more mature on my emotions,
perspectives and money matters. Who never stopped
challenging me, helping me develop new ideas and
always supporting me in everything I do. He is my number
one Supporter and my number one Critic. I Love you.
I am very blessed and grateful to God for my two kids
Angel Bernice and Dwayne Tyler as my inspirations in
making books and in everything I do. They make me
happy and inspired every day.
I would also like to acknowledge the support and love of
my family- my parents, Teofilo and Nelia Dicang, my
sisters Grace and Shally Dicang, to Rufina, my brothers
Joel, Joseph, Fred, John and Daniel Dicang. They all kept
me going. I thank them for their patience, love and
understanding even when I failed them in so many ways.
A special thanks to Pastor Jonathan Crosby (Let God Be
True), a very humble and kind minister of God. He is
serving God and people for FREE. God bless you more
Pastor, your family and your ministry.
Heartfelt thanks to you who bought this book, it is my
prayer that God will bless your life more and God will give
you the desires of your heart. May the promises of God be
your reminder that everyday God loves you. May God
pour out His blessings on your job/career, business, your
family, your children, your church, your community, your
plans, your goals, your health, your finances, studies,
especially on your ministry for your family, for other people
and for God’s glory for the year 2018 and the next years
to come.
FOREWORD

The Bible is God’s written revelation to us – a divine

library of His wisdom to His children.
It includes all the information we need to know about the
past, the present, and the future.
It can reverently be called His love letter to the church,
and it contains precious promises.
The gospel is good news or glad tidings of good from
God to you (Isaiah 52:7; Romans 10:15).
The gospel is the preaching of the Bible, with great and
precious promises (II Peter 1:4).
God has promised to do things for you that are fabulously
beyond knowledge (I Corinthians 2:9).
To the degree we trust every word of God, we will profit
from His many promises to us.
To the degree we make the words of God personal, we
will claim promises for ourselves.
Consider a message of reward from the president or your
CEO to you and copied to all!
You are not alone in the universe merely existing on the
short road to sickness and death.
We are at the threshold of a new year. Will you use God’s
word more than ever before?
WHAT IS A PROMISE?

Let us rejoice and be thankful that the Holy Spirit used this
word for us.
Promise. A declaration or assurance made to another
person with respect to the future, Stating that one will do,
or refrain from, some specified act, or that one will give or
bestow some specified thing.
One of the Divine assurances of future good or blessing,
recorded in the Scriptures as made to particular persons
on various occasions, or conceived as given to mankind
through Christ; spec. that made to Abraham with respect
to his posterity (Gen. xii.2, etc.).
If there is a difference between prophecy and promise,
we see prophecy as God declaring something He will do
in general and His promise as what He will do for you
individually.
INTRODUCTION

"Now to Abraham and his seed

were the promises made ..."
Galatians 3:16
God made incredible promises to Abraham and his seed
about 4,000 years ago … promises of a land for an
everlasting possession, an innumerable family,
destruction of their enemies, and blessings on all nations
of the earth. Who is the seed of Abraham? The answer
should be important to every reader.

THE SEED OF ABRAHAM IS CHRIST AND HIS

ELECT.

Galatians 3:16
"Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.
He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one,
And to thy seed, which is Christ."
Galatians 3:27-29
"For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ
have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there
is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female:
for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's,
then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the
promise."
WHAT ABOUT THE PROMISE OF THE LAND?

Luke 16:22
Acts 7:3-5
Hebrews 11:8-16

WHAT ABOUT AN INNUMERABLE FAMILY?

Revelation 5:9-10
Revelation 7:9-10

WHAT ABOUT TAKING THEIR ENEMIES'

GATE?

Matthew 16:18
Luke 11:21-22
I Corinthians 15:25-26
Colossians 2:14-15

WHAT ABOUT BLESSINGS ON ALL THE

NATIONS OF THE EARTH?

Romans 1:5
Romans 16:26
Galatians 3:8
Revelation 5:9-10

BUT WHAT ABOUT JERUSALEM?

Galatians 4:25-26
Hebrews 11:10
Hebrews 12:22
Hebrews 13:14

ARE ONLY SOME ISRAELITES THE SEED OF

ABRAHAM?

John 1:47
Romans 9:6-8
Galatians 6:16

ARE ONLY SOME JEWS THE SEED OF

ABRAHAM?

John 8:39
Romans 2:28-29
Revelation 2:9

SO ISRAEL IS A SPIRITUAL NATION OF
ELECT JEWS AND GENTILES?

LETTER – SEED VS. SEEDS?

Galatians 3:16
Matthew 22:31-33

John 10:34-36
Galatians 4:9

GOD HAS ASSURED US ABOUT HIS

INFALLIBILITY AND IMMUTABILITY IN
CONTEXT OF HIS PROMISES TO US.

There are things God cannot do; He wants you to know it

and rely on it – God cannot lie.
 God is not like man, and He does not lie or repent.
(Numbers 23:19, 1 Samuel 15:29, Numbers 14:34)
God promised eternal life before the world began, and He
wrote He cannot lie.(Titus 1:2)
God’s promises of eternal life to Abraham and you in
Christ Jesus are immutable by two
things – He promised, and He swore – for your greater
hope. (Hebrews 6:11-20, Galatians 3:16, 29)
There is not even a shadow of turning with the God that
gives good gifts to us. (James 1:17)
When the God of truth declares a promise, it is as done .
(Romans 4:17, Genesis 17:4-6, Romans 8:30
When the God of truth declares a promise, He is bound
by it, no matter what . (2 Chronicles 21:7)
Heaven and earth may pass away (they will!), but Jesus’
words stand forever! (Luke 21:33)

WE CAN TRUST GOD THAT HE WILL DO

WHAT HE HAS PROMISED

Men cannot and do not keep promises, in contrast to trust

you can have in God’s promises.
Men often get emotional and exaggerate beyond
knowledge of the future or their ability.
Men cannot see the future and change; God knows this
about vows . (Psalm 15:4, Ecclesiastes 5:1-6)
Men promise based on the current performance of the
object, but God promises in Christ!
Men promise based on current ability to perform, but that
can easily and greatly change.
Men are mortal and temporary and may meet with
disaster and death, thus unable to pay.
Men promise based on current attitude toward the object,
but men are fickle and change.
Men are selfish and given to self-preservation and will
renege on promises when helpful.
Men are liars by nature, like their father the devil, so they
maliciously promise to deceive.
Men seldom make unconditional promises … even God’s
are conditional in Jesus Christ!

Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
