No tool s are required to set up the LCD moni tor. Simply


follow the instructions outlined in the next few pages.

Connec tors for the signal cab les and pow er are loca ted on BNC

the sta nd. Under the c o ver, the ca bl es ca n be held i n
posi tion b y numerous cl ips.

There a re severa l w ays to route the ca bles a nd yo u may


use any wa y you find suitable for yo ur situation. However,
the routing method illustra ted by the draw ing on the right is
recommended to give the best result in mo st situations both
a estheti ca l ly a nd func tio na l ly. Once the ca b les a re i n
posi tion, gently snap the c over ba ck on to the stand.

Adjust the Four-Way Ergonom ic Stand


Adj ust the four-way (tilt, swivel, height and pi vot) ergono mic stand
for your ma ximum viewing comfort. To mini mize eye fati que, we
suggest you a llow a minimum viewing d istance of 18 inches.

Install the Pivot® Software (Optional)


In order to use the p ivo t func tion of the L CD monito r, the Portra it
Display Pivot® softw are need s to be installed. Pivo t® softw are is
no t req uired fo r you to use the moni tor i n tra ditional la ndsca pe
orientation. It is recommended that this software is insta lled onl y if
you are intending to use the monitor in po rtrait orientation.

Control Dial Rotate Downward : Move Down/Right, Increase, Larger, More


The Control Dial is a multi-functional device located behind the LED Rotate Upward : Move Up/Left, Decrease, Smaller, Less
Indicator on the right side of the front bezel. It has three movements - Button Press : Execute, Do, Save
