Verse - SB 10.2.31

Lecture Summary-

 Lord’s Lotus feet and Devotees are glorified in this shloka and lord always wish to be with his
devotes
 Both Lords Lotus feet and devotees of the lord act as Boat for a fellow devotees to cross over
this ocean of material world.
 Anukaran & Anusaran: All these great devotees who strived to achieved the lotus feet of lord
are Mahajans, so one shall follow in their footsteps by Anusaran and not just imitate them –
Anukaran, sometime a new devotee comes to temple imitate (anukaran) for putting Tilaka,
dress in dhoti or dance like them till that is may be ok but one shall not imitate further like a
great Vaishnava or Mahajan where as one shall do Anusaran by following instruction.
 By following in the foot steeps of such great devotees one can easily cross over the great ocean
like the water in calf’s hoof print, so one shall caught hold of lords lotus feet and beg “ O lord I
am not eligible out of anything but please be mercy full and always keep me in shelter of your
Lotus feet and association of your devotees.
 Su-dustaram Dyuman & kalpataru: When a devotee becomes unmukha to the second bird who
sits as supersoul in everyone heart, Like a Rising sun you kills the darkness of ignorance in the
hearts of devotees, you are ready 24x7 to fulfil all the spiritual desires like a vancha kalpataru
tree
 And so is your devotees: Lord by his mercy He sends his devotees
a) Bramhanda bramite koun bhagyavan jeev-To find and pull the jeevas from different parts of
world who have lost their path from life's after life's and put them in to devotional service of
lord
b) They become boat: In this material world of Asat all ( scientist, industrialist politicians etc..) are
behind money and profit for their patent or discoveries to exploit the general public but
Devotees are surhutham, they put all the effort to reach the lord with great difficulties and they
are so merciful that they want to become like the boat for others who are not capable to do
those efforts or face those difficulties what they have crossed over so they writes scriptures and
put up the process make ready the platform for development of devotion like a boat for anyone
and everyone who desires to reach the goal of lords lotus feet
c) They also like lord removes the ignorance in the heart of jeeva and
d) Are ready 24x7 to serve jeevas like a google map to reach the goal- lotus feet of lord
 Paschyatya desha tarine : Srila Prabhupad says that it’s our Parampara that Acharya's shall write
books to help the future generations of devotees to help them by their experiences as same as
Srila Roopa Goswami written and bhakti vinod Thakur, bhakti sidhanta saraswati and following
in their foot step sp wrote so many books and he went to America and even in the war condition
and worst condition he has successfully preached like a Boat he become paschyatya desha
tarine.
  Following footstep od SP: similarly we can see Srila Prabhupad left things to do for his disciples
and all Iskcon maharajs become boat to take up many services in most difficult conditions, By
their mercy HG mahamuni prabhu started this satsanga in domodardesh and following in their
footsteps all the senior vaishnavas (HG sri vallabh pr, Hg tulsi govind pr and many other)
become boat today for all the devotees to help and its duty of each devotee to follow the same
footstep and make ready ourself to preach the same cult in india or where ever we go since lot
of scope left for us too.
 Lord by his mercy helps all jeevas within as supersoul and without as guru to cross over this
material world
 Everyone are under the hanging sword of uncertainty in this material world and are
(adhyatimika, adi bhautika & adi daivika ) like corona which is best ongoing example to realise
 One can utilize the boat (scriptures and process) made by the Acharya's to cross over this
material conditions by following the guru and Vaishnavas and always thinking of thier
instructions,.
 Shastric evidences that lords lotus feet and devotees are like boat to cross this material lord
supporting todays verse

rupa madhurima, hari nama, sadacara gaura matra bharatadese karila pracara !! 4 !!
dura dese bhakti-hina jive uddharite senapati-bhakta gaura pathalo pascatye !! 5 !!
