PRAYER GUIDE TONIGHT: June 26,2020

INTRO: Good evening everyone! I hope everyone are well despite how bad our
situation is yet as a child of the Living God, we are privileged that we are comforted
of His Promises, His Word, “He will never leave us nor forsake us…and…that He
can turn our mourning into dancing.” Hallelujah! Tonight, it is my honor to lead you
in prayer. We shall be guided accordingly to this acronym P-R-A-Y (Praise, Repent,
Ask and Yield) and our 5 Fingers. By the way, I would like also to express my
gratitude to Khun Aood in helping us translating in Thai to communicate with you.
God bless your heart khrab.
 To start with: Let us compose ourselves in the presence of God and invite the
Holy Spirit to dwell in us and use mightily for His glory. In James 4:8a, it says, “Come
near to God and He will draw near to you….” Shall we pray.
Prayer: Hallelujah! Almighty Father, my soul is thirsty of You, and longing to be filled
by You as that of a deer that pants for streams of living water as described in
Psalms 42:1-2. We ask the Holy Spirit to saturate our lives, ready to listen and do
Your will. Lord, we humble ourselves before You. Guide and teach us how to pray in
a manner noteworthy of You that can move and touch Your heart. AMEN.
 A great way to pray also is to declare our adoration to God through song.
Tonight, I invite you, my brothers and sisters, to listen and sing along the message of

 This time around I want you to

P-RAISE: Praise for who He is and for what He has done. Tell God about the
things you are thankful for. Acknowledge His amazing power. Praise Him for being
active and alive in your life. Let’s do this.
Prayer: Awesome Father! We glorify You for who You and for what you are in our
lives. You are actively dwelling in my life, ever faithful, loving and gracious. That’s
why words could not approximate my thoughts, utterance and emotion, how grateful
we are of You. But allow me to say thank You, for the gift of life, provision, protection
and even eternal life. You give us hope even amidst of adversities and joy amidst of
loneliness and fighting spirit amidst when we are fallen. For in those times, we can
see Your might hands that is at work within us. And so, therefore, I thank You, Lord
for blessing us and teaching us to be dependent on You, Our Abba Father! Blessed
be Your Name. AMEN.

 This time around I want you to

R-epent: Repent of sins you have committed and of commands you have
neglected. Admit your failures. Have you lied, had jealous thoughts, or been selfish?
Ask for forgiveness. Let's pray.
Prayer: Dear God, forgive me from all my frailties and inequities especially I conceal
sin in my heart and commit it. I am sorry for my uncleanse thoughts, unmindful
hurtful words, bad habits and actions that are unpleasing to Your sight that’s hurting
You and others as well. Sorry, oftentimes I hurt you because I priorities earthly
pleasure and temporal satisfaction on things that is of this earth than trusting and
spend time enjoying abiding in Your Presence, cherishing our relationship with You.
Help us to be more like You, Jesus Christ, and to conquer our shortcoming. I claim
Your promise in 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, You are faithful and just and will
forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” In the loving blood of
Jesus Christ we pray. AMEN.
 This time around I want you to

A-sk: Tell God your desires. Ask for His help and we can do that using our 5
Fingers that represent people whom we need to pray for:
THUMB (นิว้ ห วั แ ม่ ม ือ ) = Closest to you, start praying for your friends and
family – those closest to you. Especially family members or friends those
who need to know Jesus Christ is and have relationship with HIM. Let’s
pray.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I am reminded of to pray for my family, loved ones and
friends in the Philippines who are still scared of this pandemic situation. I
pray that You preserve their lives especially my immediate family in Davao
and may Your blood-covering be upon then against any harm, danger and
attacks of Satan. Father, may you also strengthen my mom who is busy
rearing her grandchildren even her old age. To my 2 sisters along with their
children (my nephews and niece) and younger brother with his wife in
Singapore, I pray that may You bless the labor of their work that they may
achieve greater heights and grant their heart’s desires and dreams according
to Your richness in glory and grace. AMEN.
POINTER/INDEX FINGER (นิว้ ชี)้ - Points the way- Pray for those who are an
example of Christian life- This represents Pastors, Ministers, Teachers,
Mentors or outer circle people you come into contact with whom you look to or
go to on a regular basis. Let us remember them in our prayer.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I am lifting up to You our dearest Pastors in DPC:
Ajarn Tim and loving wife, Ajarn M with their daughter Praew. I acknowledge
them as our forerunners of the church worthy of the double portion of anointing
as it was said in 1 Timothy 5:17 “…who direct the affairs of the church well are
worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.”
Give them wisdom and strength to face each challenge and bless and protect
their families too as they are prone to attacks of the devil. Protect them from
burnout and stress too as it will hamper them to do the things You have entrusted
them to do for Your glory sake. Expand their territories and use their lives
mightily to share the gospel especially to those who are in need of it. This prayer
goes as well to all the Ministers, Pastors, Teachers and Mentors throughout the
world, Bless them O God and the ministries or churches you have entrusted
them. AMEN.
MIDDLE FINGER (น ิว้ ก ล า ง )-Highest and stands up tall- Pray for those in
positions of leadership- Government leaders, Church Leaders, principals,
employers, (Government, local, national and world.) etc. Let us intercede
for them.
Prayer: Almighty God, I want to stand in behalf of our Government leaders here
in Thailand and abroad to intercede for them. This is not the time wherein these
leaders O God will sow discord and disunity but instead be mindful for the
welfare of its citizen and let go of greed, corruption and any anomalies that are
abominable (unacceptable) to You. Let them govern with conscience and with
fear of You. So that You bless everything in the land of Thailand and its people
as well as to the global communities suffering from these crises. I would like also
to pray for our Church Leaders especially the Board of Elders and Ministry
Leaders in DPC whom You have called in a servant heart leadership to bless
them and instill in them the wisdom and vision needed to push through all the
church and ministerial affairs entrusted to them by You alongside with our Pastor.
Help them to become a great helper of our Pastor Tim in expanding Your
Kingdom. Bless their individual life and family too. AMEN.

RING FINGER (แหวน )- Weakest Finger-Pray for the sick, weak, poor, dying,
homeless, uneducated, and in need etc. Let us earnestly ask God to be with
them.
Prayer: O Lord, My God, we remember also our poor brothers and sisters who
are affected in this pandemic crisis who don’t have resources to feed themselves,
I pray that You will send forth people to bless them. For those, who are laid off or
don’t have work may You open job opportunities for them so that they will
continue to earn for their living and feed their families and glorify You. During the
time when they look for work, I pray you provide the needs of their family until
they land a job You intended for them. For those, employed I pray you will bless
our company/employers that they will keep us in the job we are in for our living.
To those brothers and sisters whom we missed in our church because they are in
their sick bed, I pray for healing and strength. Praying also for their families to
have faith in You, that truly You are our Great Physician, A Mighty Miracle
Worker, Promise-keeper our God who is in control of everything. With much faith
and trust in You O Lord Jesus Christ. AMEN.

PINKY FINGER (น ิว้ ก ้ อ ย )- Littlest Finger- Represents You. Pray for your
concerns, plans, hopes, and fears. And so, come before Him and offer our
prayer.
Prayer: Our Lord Most High! I would like to personally pray to you my concerns
especially that I am pursuing now my Diploma of Teaching and at the same
 time, Spiritual Leadership that may You guide, give me wisdom and that I will
finish it well with flying colors. I am also asking You, Father, to open door of
opportunities for me to be used by You in our church DPC or even in Kincaid, to
my workplace or wherever Your Hand leads me. Praying that I will continue to
walk in You, rooted and built up in Christ Jesus, established in the faith as I was
taught, and overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 2:6-7) to grow fruitful in all
aspects of my life especially my spiritual life. Lord, make way for me to be able
to reach others especially in Thailand into the saving knowledge of our Lord
Jesus Christ and have a relationship with You. Or if not, lead them to me so that
I can share my faith in You to them. This is my earnest prayer. AMEN.

 After we have poured out ourselves to God, it is about time to

Y-ield: Yield your (my) will to God’s will. Let God know you want to serve Him. Tell
Him that you want to follow His will for your life. Be it unto us O God according to
Your Word, according to your promises, I can stand secure. Let’s close in prayer.
Prayer: O Lord, My God, how lovely it is to dwell in the assurance that You will
incline Your ears in our prayers as Matthew 21:22 is saying “…and all things you ask
in prayer, believing, you will receive.” But Lord, if it is Your will then be it O Lord God
not as according to my own ability, strength and desire but Yours. I also pronounce
this to everyone tonight as we rest in the shelter of Your wings found in Ephesians
3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or
think, according to the power that works within us.” In the Mighty name of our Lord
Jesus Christ. AMEN.
