Oh, Shah of Rome, you are great and had a higher level
So you are reaching the position during the olden time
Oh Shah many centuries have passed but you are known
Not only in India but beyond the limits of all world
So the main reason for your fame are your great miracles
Which you were shown many miracles become famous
Hafeez is your devotee and your servant, so he requests
You push the community towards the last glory of Islam
So that there may be a flourish of Islam and community
Oh Shah helps Hafeez and all others who visit your place
All are coming from the far and near for your kindness
Oh Shah of time gives kind leave for Hafeez so can leave
At last, Hafeez request you to favor and all the persons
As all are visiting from far and near for your kind help

A brief biography of Hazrat Haji Rumi Bijapur

     He was the first Sufi personality who was entered into
Bijapur city when there was the rule of the Hindu kingdom and
there was no introduction of Islam in the Bijapur Kingdom at
that time, so in this way, he was among  the pioneer preachers of
the Islamic mission in the Bijapur region. He was entered in
Bijapur along with his servants and disciples there, but upon
entry there he and his companions and servants were suffered
many hardships and problems by local persons and king's
servants. So that due to problems Muslims may leave the place
and go to another area. But the servants of Haji Saheb continued
their service with attention and care. He was a disciple of the
Khaja Haruni who was a spiritual master of Hazrat Khaja
Moinuddin Chisit Ajmairi. And faced all kinds of problems and
difficulties in this matter.
    Shah Sahib and all his companions were not allowed to enter
the city so for this reason all were staying outside of the city and
even they could not get food supplies and other necessary
things like water and other things from local shops. There were

prohibited to buy food and necessaries from local shops. So that

due to upsets the Muslim preachers leave from Bijapur and to go
some other place from there. So, for this reason, all began
starvation for a three day period, and in this matter and when
their condition was becoming hard and unbearable, so they
requested Shaikh of time Hazrat Rumi for his kind help in this
matter. So he asked them to catch one cow which was passing
from there and on that slaughter and eat its flesh by full of their
stomachs but keep separate cow’s skin, legs, head and bones. So
for this reason they have slaughtered the cow and eat its flesh to
solve the problem of starvation in this matter.
    In the city of Bijapur, there was one cow worshipper Raja was
there and whose cow was eaten by the companions of the
Hazrat Haji Rumi in the above circumstances. So began
searching and there was an inquiry about the cow in the jungle
and other areas, but he could not find the cow at any place. So
there was his doubt and it was confirmed that the Muslims was
eaten away his cow so he was approached the companions of the
Shah Sahib and they have informed him that due to   the
condition of the starvation and as per the order of the Shaikh of
time they have slaughtered the cow and eat its flesh for this
reason. So for this, he was becoming much angry and he began
problems  for them in this matter and he was the demand to
bring back his cow at once without any delay.
    But the Shah of the time who told cow owner that he will
solve the problem if he and his companions will be allowed into
the city and given freedom, then he can give re-birth to his cow
in this matter and the cow worshipper raja of Bijapur have
agreed in this matter. So Shah of time has asked his servant to
bring cow’s skin and legs, bone and head before him and upon
bringing the required things of the dead cow, then Shah of Rumi

began arranging fixing of the cow's parts on the earth by his

trick and began  to strike with his stick to give re-birth the killed
cow. And soon the cow which was killed was again re-appeared
thereby favour of the kindness of Allah. Then Raja was taken
away his cow from there.
    Due to the great miracle of the time Hazrat Rumi there was
good effect and respect of Shah Saheb on the people of the
Bijapur and there was started the light of Islamic propagation in
the Bijapur and due to its light and a large number of people of
the city who have accepted the Islamic religion. And due to his
favour and the place has become a center of people's visit to the
city of the Bijapur.
  As per tradition Shah of Rumi, who was caliphs of Hazrat
Usman Haruni and who was the spiritual master of Hazrat
Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti of Ajmaire. 
Also, it is said that Haji Rumi, Haji Makki, Haji Saif Al-
Mulk and Shaikh Salahuddin of Pune who was fellow disciples
and among followers and  the caliphs of Khaja Nizamuddin
Aluliya of Delhi.
The Shah Sahib’s shrine is situated near the old inspection
bungalow on the station road near the women's university in
Bijapur.

The Urs  (death anniversary).

    People from various walks of life, irrespective of caste and

creed, assemble to celebrate the Urs (death anniversary) which
takes place on the 22nd day of Zil Hajj of Muslim calendar at
the famous Hazrat Rumi shrine (Dargah) in Bijapur every year.
Several hundred thousand devotees from near and far,

irrespective of religion and beliefs, gather there to seek

blessings.
Conclusion.
    To write about this great Sufi saint and 
a great author is not only it is difficult and but it is a very hard
task as he was not only a great pious personality of his time in
the area of the Deccan (South India) but so, in brief, he was
Qu’tub (highest cadre in the spiritual pivot at axis) of his time in
the Deccan region. 
    For a long time, he was engaged in religious discourses,
sermons, and spiritual training of the people and he did also
many great endeavours for the preaching and propagation work
of Islam in Deccan (South India) and around this region and
there was no such personality during his time.
