IMPROVEMENT PLAN

Colombia is the second largest exporter of flowers in the world, where
in 2019, it exported 35,000 thousand tons of flowers to countries such
as the United States, Japan, England, Canada, Spain and Russia,
obtaining a monetary gain of nearly 1.4 billion dollars.
The success obtained in the exportation of Colombian flowers is due to
the different management processes applied in the different flower
exporting companies.

The evidence analysed 1. Dialogue evaluating product and service, as
a priority within the management process in the area of operations, a
strategy of care in the cutting process in order not to suffer
occupational accidents.
Within my management process will not only take into account the
operational area, if not all areas that are part of the production of the
flower obtaining a product of excellent quality for the international
market.
In the production of the flower will take into account three processes,
which are part of the needs of the person concerned and the
satisfaction of the person concerned, including this:
- STRATEGIC PROCESS
Human Management.
Financial Management.
- MISSION PROCESS
Extraction.
Production.
Distribution.
Consumption and Disposal.
- SUPPORT PROCESSES
Environmental Management.
Occupational Health and Safety Management.
The three processes will work together so that each area meets the
main objective which is to export a flower of excellent quality.

STRATEGIC PROCESS
Human Management: The improvement plan for this area consists of
hiring the necessary personnel to meet the export goals, with eight
working hours in the administrative area and in the operational area will
be three shifts with the same 8 hours, paid and all benefits provided by
law.
Financial Management: Within this area that makes part of what we
commonly call the administrative area, will be responsible for seeking
monetary resources through bank loans to meet the payment of payroll
and suppliers, for them it is proposed that there is no labor reload, it
will conform the professional staff, administrative assistants and most
importantly the hardware and software required for the proper
functioning of the area.

MISSIONARY ACTIVITY
Within this process, the areas are part of the process.
Extraction: In this area, the employee is in charge of the preparation
of the land, the adaptation of the infrastructure such as the
greenhouses, the sowing of seeds and cuttings, irrigation and the
application of fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides, Here, an excellent
improvement plan must be applied so that the employee's health is not
affected due to the amount of products that will be used in the process
of planting and maintaining it. To this end, the necessary implements
such as overalls, gloves, helmet, goggles, masks and adequate
footwear must be provided in order to mitigate the risks that affect the
health of the operating personnel.
Production: As with the extraction area, this process must also
consider using the same protective implements since it will use
fertilizers and aerosols, where it will frequently spray and dye some
flowers. During the cutting process, it is important to use gloves to
avoid cutting the upper limbs. Finally, to be able to pack the flower, you
must have the appropriate material such as: the cap and the boxes that
will finally be stored.
Distribution: Within this process is part of the staff who is responsible
for storing the flower, the employee stores the flower in cold rooms, for
this the strategy is to have the appropriate equipment such as thermal
overalls that does not allow it to affect their respiratory system with
diseases better known as acute respiratory infections and belts that do
not allow the column to suffer any damage, by the weight that would
have to load for storage and loading the trucks that will transport the
flower.
Consumption and Disposal: In this process, the personnel hired will
fulfill the task of delivering the product in optimal conditions, this
personnel does not have a high risk as the previous ones, but if they
had the software and hardware to perform their functions avoiding
labor stress.

SUPPORT PROCESS
Environmental Management and Management Safety and Health
at Work: This process is part of the administrative area, its risks are
minimal, within the improvement plan can be said to have the
respective software and hardware to perform their functions, but it is
also very important to have the necessary knowledge to avoid
penalties for pollution, claims for accidents at work, for this will be in
constant training of the laws governing each area, thus achieving a
process without any kind of legal problems with the control bodies of
the country.
Finally, it is required that the company enters a process of labor
inclusion, which does not matter if it is a man, woman or preference, a
disabled person or because of their race or religion, the important thing
here is that the proposed goals are met, but with a staff that takes love
to their work because of the excellent working conditions implemented.

In conclusion, it can be stated that, within the management process, an
adequate improvement plan has been designed that complies with the
labor parameters that the company's personnel must have in order to
meet the objectives of the planned flower export.
