In this bar graph, the accomplishment level of Aguado Elementary School in improving the reading ability of the learners is clearly
presented. The gray bar represents the data of school year 2019-2020; orange bar represents 2018-2019 and the blue bar represents 2017-
2018. The number on the left corresponds to the percentage of each given variable.

What the data shows


 The level of accomplishment of Aguado Elementary School for the past three years is inconsistent but did quite well. In 2017-2018, there
were 616 pupils enrolled in SPARK from 1533 actual enrolment whereas 481 pupils improved giving AES 64% accomplishment. In 2018-2019,
there were 441 pupils enrolled in SPARK from 1367 actual enrolment whereas 379 pupils improved giving AES 86% accomplishment. And for
the present school year, 2019-2020 there are 325 pupils enrolled in SPARK from 1441 actual enrolment whereas 219 pupils improved giving
AES 67% accomplishment.
 Comparing the above given data, AES had its peak performance in 2018-2019 where the gap was down to only 62 compared to 106 in
2017-2018 and 266 in 2019-2020. However, it can be gleaned that the present school year had the least number of enrollees who underwent
the program which basically gives an impression that the reading abilities of AES pupils has been improving through the years.
 Trend cannot be established as there were alternately ups and downs in the level of achievement.
 The school recognizes that there is much to improve and considers the school performance in reading as a “work in progress”. AES will
continue to exert all possible efforts to fully meet the 100% target of the Department of Education to make every child a reader.
