2. Electrical wiring installation shall be done in Rigid Metal Conduit, or in a Wire Tray.
3. Plant System voltage shall be 230-volt, 3-phase, 60 Hz and 460-volt, 3-Phase, 60 Hz.
4. All motors shall be provided with magnetic contactor coupled with overload relay as over-current-protection, and setting
shall be 125% of the motor full load current.
5. All non-current carrying electrical materials such as motor frames, metal enclosures, pull boxes, cable trays, panel and p
ush button station shall be adequately grounded in accordance with the latest edition of the PEC
6. All wires shall be copper and thermoplastic insulated type "THW" unless otherwise indicated. The minimum size for
power and lighting shall be 2.0mm² and shall be color coded as follows:
Line A - Red
Line B - Black
Line C - Yellow
Neutral - Gray
Equipment Grounding - Green
8. There shall be adequate and effective equipment grounding. Ground resistance should be no more than 5 ohms.
If ground resistance exceeds 5 ohms, additional ground rods shall be provided.
9.All existing Fuslble Type Panel Boards shall be replaced by a Molded Case Circuit breaker with proper interrupting
capacity as computed.
10.All rotten wire insulation shall be replaced with a brand-new one to ensure safety during plant operation.
11. All electrical rehabilitation shall be done under the direct supervision of a duly licensed and experienced
Electrical Engineer or Registered Master Electrician.
