The extent level of committing plagiarism in the Practical Research Outputs of senior

high school students of San Andres National High School.

The table shows that among the sources with 30 respondents, a

maximum of 40 percent copied directly from the internet, a maximum of 8 percent was

obtain from the organizational archives wherein the data was compared to saved

documents and records in the computer. Lastly, with a maximum of 74 and a minimum

of 33 percent gained from plagiarism prevention pool this reveals that there is a high

chance that the data being used on the researches was plagiarized.

Furthermore, with a mean score of 46.893 and a standard deviation of

25.094 interpreted as Medium, the extent level of committing plagiarism is likely to

happen. Thus, this concludes that the respondent/research proponents in the practical

research outputs of the senior high school students of San Andres National High School

probably committed plagiarism.

2. To continue, the extent level of committing plagiarism in the Practical Research

Outputs of senior high school students of San Andres National High School as to

Internet Sources, with the mean score of 21 and a standard deviation of 10.379

descriptively interpreted as small. With this, it can be denoted that there are less

chances that the researches were copied directly from the internet as they go beyond

making researches. As to Organizational archives, a mean score of 2.63 and a standard

deviation of 2.533 shows that there is a very small chances that the researches directly
copied what was in the published articles and journals. Probably, they were able to the

proper citations to recognized the authors.

In plagiarism prevention pool as presented on the table, having a 74

percent maximum errors derived onto a mean score 54.63 with a standard deviation of

12.759, it was descriptively interpreted as large. This means that the researchers most

likely does the copy and paste process in order to finish their manuscript. Thus, the

result signifies that it is more likely and probably educates our learners on how to make

a research paper and encourage the teachers to promote way of using others’

statement or work to avoid plagiarism that is against law. Furthermore, this concludes

that the students just suppose as compliance to the subject and they do not consider

the correct, reliable, valid and quality.
