BEED/BSED
Second Semester 2019-2020

Objectives
1. To develop relevant exercise and competence in the academe and deliver quality education for the total development of BSED/BEED students;
2. To produce globally competitive BSED/BEED graduates skilled in their major field of specialization and BSED/BEED graduates with skills geared towards
enhancing employability and satisfying manpower needs;
3. To develop creativity and scientific approaches, and encourage innovative ideas in the academe in order to provide efficient and effective services in the
secondary and elementary level;
4. To develop research competence among BSED/BEED students in order to contribute to the general advancement of knowledge;
5. To facilitate the development of skills and attitudes necessary for success of the Pre-service Secondary and Elementary teachers who shall be employable
locally and abroad;
6. To extend educational and entrepreneurial expertise for community development; and
7. To developed students’ moral character, critical thinking, aesthetic, environmental and cultural values.

V – Course Description :Industrial Arts Education /Family Resources management

To meet the requirements of an initial general course in Home Economics is an attempt to provide the students with such guidance in his or her encounter with the Industrial
Arts Education.

VI – Course Requirement
1. Pass the quizzes
2. Pass the mid-term exam
3. Attend class regularly and participate actively
4. Prepare and submit assignments/projects/written outputs and research papers
5. Group/Individual Report

VII – Course/Classroom Policies


1. A student who has incurred 20% of the total no. of hours of scheduled attendance for the semester shall be dropped from the class roll. If the majority of absences are
excused, s/he might not be given a grade failure; however, if majority of absences are not excused, the students should be given a grade of failure upon being dropped.
2. Any student, who for unavoidable cause, finds it necessary to be absent from class, must present to his or her professor either a letter from his/her parent or guardian or a
medical certificate upon returning to class.
3. A student maybe accepted in class even if s/he is late for 15 minutes, but should be marked late and will not be given any missed activity. Successive tardiness will be
sanctioned or will be sent to the Office of the Student Affairs.
4. Dropping the course may still be done before the mid-term week upon the approval of the registrar.
5. Student must exercise Academic Honesty. Any form of dishonesty and or deceit, especially cheating during exam or any class work, copying others work, forging signatures
and the like, will automatically receive failing mark and or will be reprimanded or suspended.
6. Students must always follow the date of submission. Late requirements will not be accepted.
7. Checked papers or any other requirements that had been returned should be kept. This will be your proof if you want to verify your grades. All questions should only be
addressed to the professor.
8. Any form of misconduct will be reported to the Office of the Student Affairs.
9. Do not forget that you are a student, and that you are expected to follow school rules and regulations.
