Most of us are in our twenties and we still have no idea of what
stock investment is all about. Here’s your chance to grab the
knowledge and get a first hand feel of it. Here comes the
“MONEY MESSIAH” an online stock simulation game. This game
will give you an opportunity to lay your hands on a virtual stock
market and also to test yourself in its volatile and tricky waters.
The challenge is to create a portfolio of investments that
maximizes your net worth and outperforms all other investor’s
portfolio. And the good news, though you do not invest real
money, you get a feel of the real stock market trading on a
platform designed by Clique.

So be ready to beat the competition and to be the Messiah!!!

EVENT DETAILS:
1. The participants will be given a fixed sum of Rs 25,00,000.
The participants need to create the portfolio of stocks with the
said amount.
2. The buying and selling of shares will take place at market
price which will be shown at appropriate place.
3. The participants can trade in the equity segment.
4. There are several sectors comprising a total of 30
companies, the details of which will be shown during time of
the game.
5. The investor needs to invest smartly in several stocks based
on the performance and future expectations of the company.
6. The investors are advised to diversify their portfolio so that
“all eggs are not put in one basket”. The maximum exposure
through equity investment that can be taken in any stock is
capped at Rs 5,00,000/-
7. The duration of the game will be 1hour daily for two
successive days
(11th and 12th Feb 2011).
8. Participants will have to maximize the net worth of their
portfolio by making use of news which will be flashed during
the course of the game.
9. The prices of the shares will be refreshed several times
during the game. These prices may get affected because of the
news or other circumstances that might arise during the course
of game. It also needs to be mentioned that we are in a stock
market and prices may defy logic.
10. There is NO interest on idle cash. Therefore investing all
your money may be good idea.
11. Intra-day trading is allowed.
12. Short selling and limit orders are not allowed.
13. There will be no trial iterations. The game will start sharp at
earlier mentioned time.
RULES:
1. The competition is open to all post graduate management
students from any institute.
2. Each team can have a maximum of 3 members of the same
institute.
3. There is no restriction on the numbers of participating teams
from one institute. However a member cannot be a participant
of more than one team.
4. Each team will be assigned a unique identification number
after the registration mail is received.
6. In case of any discrepancy the decisions of the organising co-
ordinators shall be final and binding.
