An open letter to my fellow Filipinos,

As we all know all the world has come face to face with a serious Corona Virus and this
is making our lives difficult and making us nervous at the same time. A disease that
originally came from China which we are all aware and we call it the COVID-19. It
already caused numerous cases around the world and now it continues causing various
cases in our own country which is the Philippines.

Months ago we were aware about the COCID-19 which we first called the NCOV from
them on that news scared us, we took precautionary measures like avoiding huge
number of people, body contact and we took having good hygiene seriously we became
more conscious regarding to our health.

But I am sorry to say this my fellow Filipinos, we failed. We failed to protect our country,
our countrymen to this COVID-19. This situation of ours has caused a huge change in
our lives. From just having suspension of classes to take precautionary measures, to
panic buying, to community quarantine, to being under state of calamity, this only
implies that regardless of who we are due to COVID-19 we are undergoing a lot of
changes. From our daily routines, like classes or works of many are affected, the fact
that our lives are always at-risk whenever we go out.

We never wanted this; we never expected this reason why every one of us relay much
on our news today. The only thing that we want is to go back in our normal lives without
the threat of the COVID-19 and with my fingers crossed I deeply hope that this dilemma
of ours will end soon, that we will never experience this hard times again.

I also wanted you, my dear fellow Filipinos to stay hopeful, God did not have this trying
time because He knows that we’ll get over this. We Filipinos are always strong and we
became stronger especially in this hard time. We are greater than any disease.

There is always a rainbow after the rain my fellow Filipinos, so let us stay in our homes,
be with our families , pray and hope that this will end soon.

If you say “ The Lord is my refuge” and you make the most high your dwelling. no harm
will overtake you. no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command his angels
concerning you to guard you in all your ways: they will lift you up in their hands so that
you will not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:9-12
