Terminology: Person ID, Personnel Assignment, Contract, PERNR, CE-GE
What is concurrent employment?
Concurrent Employment:
Employee holds different jobs concurrently
All jobs are in the same country
Available for a limited number of countries
What is global employment?
Global Employment:
The majority of the employees are working only in one country
The jobs of the employees are sequential
HR processes are running in two (rarely more) countries at the same time
Available for all countries (country combinations)
Relevance of CE-GE for learning management
Unfied learner experience
Learner does not have to log in using multiple usernames into the learning system.
Unified qualification and pre-requisites verification while booking courses.
When a learners books herself in a course the system now checks for courses completed and qualifications attained as part of all personnel assignments.
Efficient user participation management for instructors and administrators
While booking a person in a course all personnel assignments are displayed.
Administrators can pick the appropriate personnel assignment and book the user under that personnel assignment.
Roles Impacted by CE-GE
Learner - Learning Portal
Can log into the system using a unified username and password.
Can book herself into courses under different personnel assignments
Administrator - SAP EL Backend and 25 SAP LSO Reports
Can book learners in courses under different personnel assignments.}
Can see 25 reports where personnel assignment information is there
Instructor - Instructor Portal
Can book learners in courses under different personnel assignments.
Learner Experience
Show a screenshot of the learner portal with courses along with Person IDs and Personnel Assignments.
Instructor Experience
A screenshot of instructor portal where an instructor has multiple assignments.
Administrator Experience

Point out that multiple personnel assignments are listed there.
Procedure to Turn ON CE-GE for test purposes.
For test purposes, the tester can turn on or off concurrent employment and global employment from the 'Maintain user Profile' screen.

The parameters to run on are
'HR_CCURE_MAINS" for concurrent employment and
HR_CCURE_GLEMP' for global employment.
+ indicates ON and - indicates Off.
Identifying CE-GE features in a system
Type the transaction to display HR Master Data
HR Master Data screen when CE-GE is turned ON
HR Master Data screen when CE-GE is turned OFF
Reporting Changes
25 Backend reports have been enhanced to accomodate CE-GE
