I. Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

K – Evaluate the vegetable or crop to plant in their plant box.
S – Build a strategy together with their groupmates to maximize their garden area.
A – Promote 3 R’s in their assigned garden area.

A. Preparation
1. Daily Routine

 Greeting
 Classroom Management

B. Presentation
Post-test exam from yesterday’s discussion.
Instead of doing the activity, the teacher informed the students to group themselves into
five (5) groups. Each group will be given an assigned area for gardening.
Teacher will guide the students to their assigned area.

IV. Assessment:
Evaluate your area for gardening. Discuss with your groupmates your desired vegetable or crop to
plant in your plant box. Be creative and incorporate indigenous material.

V. Assignment
Remind students to bring the materials to be used in cleaning and maintaining farm tools and
equipment.
- Whetstone
- Bench vise
- Lubricating oil
- Wire brush
- Steel wool
- Old toothbrush
- Medium-grit sandpaper

Note: This was updated because students were unable to bring the materials supposedly to be used in
today’s activity. Instead activity, will be moved on Friday.
