interspace of 6-7 stitches. Place the beads on the ch and tie s knot in each end.

Chick with shell:
Place the chick in the shell. Pull one end of the foundation ch through both chick and the shell, and pull
out the other end through chick and shell with an interspace of 6-7 stitches. Place the beads on the ch,
and tie a knot in each end.

Tail-feather:
In yellow on the chick without a shell.
Insert the yarn in round 7 on the back of the body. Ch 6, work 1 sc where the yarn was inserted. Ch 8,
work 1 sc where the yarn was inserted. Ch 6 and work 1 sc where the yarn was inserted. Cut the yarn
and weave in ends.

Beak:
