Blue Rose Narrator's Journal

Blue Rose Narrator's Journal is a campaign organization tool for GMs. It is available
at RPG Now: http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?
products_id=4949&SRC=GreenRonin

p. 2, Previous Rulings and Task Difficulties: This paragraph should be in the body
text font, not the header font.

p. 4, Campaign Overview:

I would have very much liked a sheet to keep track of hero abilities. The
only acknowledgement in the PDF that there were players was that you
had a place to put their names on page 4. A sheet to track things like skills
a GM should make secret rolls of (Notice, Sense Motive) as well as some
basic info (defense, saves, etc.) would have been very nice. [White Rose
Duelist (Chris LoBue), 6/22/2005, "Re: Blue Rose Narrator's Journal"]

pp. 10-15, Elements Reference Sheets: There is no form for new Backgrounds.

pp. 17-19, Major Narrator Character: There are no spaces for Calling or
Natures.

p. 36, Open Game License: 15. Copyright Notice: The Book of the Righteous entry
should read, "Book of the Righteous, Copyright 2002, Green Ronin Publishing, LLC;
Author Aaron Loeb."

Using the BRNJ with True20

The majority of the Blue Rose Narrator's Journal can be used easily with True20
Adventure Roleplaying. Changes to be aware of include:

Adept, Expert, and Warrior Paths (pp. 7-9): Ignore these pages--True20 makes
changes to these tables, and doesn't use paths.

Feats (p. 10): Arcane feats are now Supernatural.

Arcana (p. 11): This form may be used for new Powers. Ignore "Sorcery?",
"Talent", and "Untrained". Ignore "Abiity" unless using this form as reference
for a specific character.

Arcane Stones/Elixirs (p. 14): This form may be used for miscellaneous
superatural items.

Creature (p. 16): Ignore "Type", "Alignment", and "Advancement". Ignore

"Level" unless the creature has beengiven a role (such as the Goblin and Orc in
the True20 rules).

Major Narrator Character, Page 1 (p. 17) and Minion (p. 20): Ignore
"Background/Type", "Alignment", and "Corruption". Use the Arcana box for
Powers.

Secret Society/Organization, Page 1 (p. 21): Ignore "Organization's Alignment".

Location/Building, Page 1 (p. 24): Ignore "Corrupt?".

Shadowgates (p. 27): Ignore this page unless your campaign has similar
supernatural portals.
