Description:

The Claiming insurance payment (CPI) system is a Claims payment processing

Engine used by the property and casualty and Business Risk System (BRS). It has
been consider as a very critical application and implemented on Insurance Financial
and Supply Chain Management (“IFSCM”) application’s Account Payable module. This
is an Enhancement project wherein the insurance version is developed from 8.5 to
9.5. The Process of testing involved functional and End-To-End Testing. Different
system was interfaced with CIP for payment processing. Claims were gather in
Mainframe system called BCPS with all transactions recorded in BMF Print file.

The Accountabilities:

 Tested CPI application 9.5 from a user’s perspective to verify that all the
business rules and functionalities in the current version 8.5 are carried over to
the new version after the developed.
 CPI functionality testing
 CPI Enhancement testing
 CPI Interface testing – tested data transformation logic and core
functionalities with all its interfacing system
 Tested Various Batch jobs and Pay cycle within the application
 Validated that there is no GUI changes in the HIG customized screens after
the New Verson.
 Prepared and Executed test scripts for the business requirement
 Maintain all the test scripts, test execution results and defect in QC
 Used Toad to query the backend tables (CPI insurance tables) for data
verification.
 Prepared the scorecard for daily reporting.

Description:

This project was mainly developed to help the account holders to perform
various transactions sitting at home or at one’s office. One can view accounts, see
statements, search the details of a payment, view balance, transfer money. Account
holders can make payments by single transaction and regular transaction. In regular
transaction you can set up regular transfer and regular payments. Account holders
can also changes mode of payment and transfer money to any destination specified
in the application within one working day.
The on-line funds transfer, cheque/debit card,
statements, balance enquiry, opening of FD, Rd are the different module that are
tested in this project.
